Ive used Mullein tea bags before but this is the first time Ive used the ‘raw herb’. The one thing to be aware of is there is quite a bit of dust, which escapes the mesh of a tea infuser and can irritate the throat when drinking. The best way to overcome this, is to fill your infuser and gently tap it to allow the dust to fall through and until there is no more. I also add honey to make it more palatable. I have been taking it morning and night for the last 5 days and have found relief from a very chesty cough. It loosens mucous and acts as a relaxant at night so sleep has been deeper and less disturbed.
