I tested it on my cat, 2 dogs and an alligator. They all loved it and they now bask in sunlight with a huge smile! If that is cruelty, I don't wanna be right.

How scratchy is this? I want it to be really exfoliating, like the Keihls bar.

It is very “scratchy” but in the best way. I have chronic dry skin and this strips the dead stuff away without being harmful. I use it every shower. If you have sensitive, painful skin you’ll have to go light on scrubbing. I would not use this on a sunburn, but the moisturizing properties of the body wash make it a great follow up to a sunburn if you are foolish enough to get one. You could successfully use this soap in the peeling phase of a burn, after the pain has subsided.

Are the palm ingredients in this soap the same palm ingredients contributing to the destruction of the rain forest we hear so much about?
