I have never been fishing in my life, so I cannot speak to that part. What I can say is this works great for hanging small 3D printed trinkets, especially things like Christmas ornaments. It is hard to see from a distance, which is exactly what I wanted, and it is surprisingly sturdy. No issues so far. As for whether it can handle a fish, I do not have one of those to test with.

Used this in my classroom to hang some LED signs. These signs are honestly heavy and they’ve been holding them all school year.

I have had the same round of fishing line for probably 20 years. I double fish. I use it to hang photographs artwork, and then crafting. I left it in Fla and came home and didn’t have anybody to hang a wreath. I bought myself another round of it and I’m sure it will last me 20 years.

It worked for my purpose, which was to suspend a model F18 above an US Aircraft Carrier using Magnets and this fishing line.

I don't fish but I use this for the occasional craft (and hanging a skateboard on my wall!). It is way sturdier than expected and hold up well even after a long time. Well-priced and gives you a lot of material. Highly recommend!
