Great product! I use it for all my fruit pies. Easy to make the fruit filling thick.Just wish Amazon did a better job of packaging it. Twice now the clear gel plastic container came beaten up, like it fell off the conveyer belt. This is disappointing.

The product was exactly as advertised and worked wonderfully for making and canning homemade ketchup.

I used this to can peach pie filling. It worked really well. You really need to work fast though it sets up fast.

I was so happy when my Clear gel arrived… As I had a half a bushel of peaches sitting on my countertop that needed to be canned. I made the best peach pie filling. Thanks to Clear gel.

First time buying this brand and I’m impressed! This is modified food starch, so it’s safe for canning vs cornstarch. It is not a substitute for pectin in jams and jellies. It’s also good for thickening sauces, like sweet and sour sauce, where you might use flour or cornstarch. I used it for batches of peach pie filling and peach salsa last weekend and it came out nicely. I was a little nervous about texture because the color looked more cloudy than my usual brand before processing, but it turned clear in the water bath and had a smooth texture. Buying in bulk was much cheaper than buying multiple smaller tablecloths bags at my grocery store.

If your going to make any canned fruit pie filling please buy this product!!! It makes the best pies!! I use to use cornstarch but never again the fillings come out looking better than store bought filling!! Easy to do and easy to pour into a pie crust and ready to bake!! 10 out of 10 on this product!!
