Excellent! Did the job for me. . .
Short version: this is a very good washer, a good price, easy to assemble, use, transport and store. The details: I had some concrete patio and driveway cleaning to do. Not oil stains, but old spilled paint stains, ground in dirt and who knows what over the last 20 years. I had used a gasoline-powered pressure washer in the past, so was cautious about electric, as they tend to have not as much power. No worries! I will only use it maybe 3 or 4 times a year, so I could accept less-than-stellar performance for the convenience of no gas, no gummy residues, no "won't start", no draining the gas, etc. Today I cleaned a driveway and a patio and the machine did a great job! There are various nozzles for different forces and they change in less than a minute, plus are convenient stored right on the machine itself. It took a while, maybe two or more hours, to do the job, so my hand and arms got tired of constantly holding the trigger on and waving the wand back and forth. Well, good exercise. But holding that trigger suggests that future jobs will be broken into smaller pieces, done a day apart. The unit, out of the box new, assembled in maybe 10 minutes with a Phillips head screwdriver. Instructions were clear but for one item, under "Operating...". There is a rotating yellow plastic locking knob that prevents the trigger for being squeezed accidentally. This is a good feature. However, the instructions say to turn the knob, and I couldn't. Even with pliers, gently. What the instructions SHOULD say is, "While pushing down on the knob, rotate it". Once I figured that out, it worked like a charm. One key benefit is that the unit transports easily in a car. You have three pieces: the power unit itself plus its wheeled base (which comes apart into two pieces for a small profile transport and storage package). Right now, the unit is in the shed on a shelf with 14" of vertical space (and about 18"" deep) so it also stores easily; don't be put off by the size of the operating unit when assembled. Assembling/disassembling into these three pieces for storage or use takes just a minute or so, no tools needed.. I did not use any detergent so can't comment on that. I plan on some other projects and, if the unit displays issue after this honeymoon period, I will update my review..

Good quality, Reasonable value, light to medium duty pressure washer
This review is written the day of arrival immediately after assembly and an hour of first use on the side of the house and concrete sidewalk. Perfectly good household power washer for light to medium duty. Instructions say assembly takes 5 minutes. I’m moderately handy; it took me a bit over 30 minutes. That said, while the instructions weren’t as clear as I’d like, they were way better than average and there is less to assemble than it looks like there is when you get all the parts out and ready. While the pressure is certainly way higher than a garden hose, to clean the black build up off a concrete sidewalk the tip of the wand needs to be within a few inches of the concrete. Any further away and it partially cleans, but won’t get all the black stuff even if you go over it multiple times. As a result, when trying to clean mildew off the side of my house above head height I couldn’t get the wand close enough to remove the mildew. I could see that I was getting a little bit of it, but to clean if off am going to have to get a ladder so I can get the sprayer end right up next to the siding. There is a trigger lock to prevent the trigger from being activated, but no lock to KEEP the trigger activated. I understand this is necessary for safety ... but, holding the trigger depressed for long periods takes work. It is fatiguing. If you release the trigger even a little bit the pump cuts off. Once this occurs you can’t simply depress the trigger immediately. The pump needs a minute to catch up. Getting used to this is slightly irritating. This unit comes with several sprayer end attachments that control the spread of the water stream that comes out, including the “0 degree” nib that Consumer Reports recommends everyone throw away first thing when they get their pressure washer. Consumer Reports concern is that the 0 degree nozzle emits a stream of water so concentrated, under so much pressure that it can cause harm. I can imagine that if one were to aim the 0 degree stream at a bare foot from a few inches away it may cause harm. It would certainly hurt even if it didn’t cause tissue damage. But, that said, even the 0 degree nozzle spreads out so quickly that by the time the stream is 8-12 inches from the end of the nozzle I suspect injury is unlikely unless you aim it at someone’s face. The unit is fairly light and easy to move around. Both the electrical cord and the high pressure water hose are easily stored on the stand. From the outside the build quality appears to be good. If anything changes I’ll update this review, but initial use makes me satisfied with the choice.

Great power washer for a homeowner
I bought this a couple months ago and have used it several times since. I originally bought it because I have barn swallows pooping all over my front porch right in front of my door and needed something to clean all that poop. I have cleaned my front porch with this, washed my truck, cleaned a walkway, washed part of my driveway, cleaned outdoor chairs and washed the second story of my house. I went with Stanley because I liked how you can take the power washer out of it’s cart. This was ideal since I knew I wanted to use this on my 2nd floor siding and I can just place it on the roof without the wheels. It has done a good job so far of cleaning. You don’t wanna buy this if you’re wanting to power wash your driveway. It will do the job, but will take a very long time. I have a big driveway and I did a couple sections of it, just took a really long time. Worked really well for cleaning my truck and for my siding. I had a different electric power washer before this that would leak all over the place, fall over a lot and was just poorly designed. This one hasn’t leaked at all, which amazed me. I have had some issues with the pressure, but I believe that was because the water inlet got a little clogged and it’s very easy to take out the filter and clean it. I love the hose that comes with it. It is much more pliable than the last one I had. It’s soft and has very little memory which is ideal for a pressure washer hose. I love that I can take it out of its cart and that it has places to hang the hose and holster the gun and store the nozzles. It is a well thought out design. My dad saw me using this power washer and was impressed so he bought the same one. I can’t speak to the durability since Ive only had it a few months, but it’s so well built Im not too worried about that. I would definitely recommend this washer for the typical homeowner and I am happy I went with this one.

Blew a gasket?!
I purchased this unit last year in May. I bought it specifically to clean an old boat. It worked fine and I put about 4 hours on it. I drained the unit and stored it in my basement for the winter. This year in June, I pulled my still new (4 operating hours) pressure washer out to clean off my deck. It had very little pressure and water squirted out the front from under the on/off switch. I called the number on the Stanley website looking for help and the very nice fellow on the other end told me that they really only work on AG pressure washers. He had nothing on my 2050. I am going to dismantle the unit and figure out what is leaking. and will continue to update as I go. Hopefully parts are available. These things are made in Italy. Va bene....... So far my operating cost (purchase price divided by hours used) is about $44.00 per hour. Ouch!! Stanley, so far I am not impressed!!! Continued.... I disassembled the pump unit last night and removed the offending O ring. It can be seen protruding in pictures 1 and 2 and can be seen at the bottom of picture 4. I left everything on the bench intending to get a new O ring today and then reassemble the head. This morning I discovered the entire assembly on the floor and all the little spring loaded valve thingies had escaped to wherever these things go. No chance for repair...... I will now contact Stanley and see if I can purchase just the pump assembly. All for want of an O ring. For want of a nail the shoe was lost, for want of a shoe the rider was lost, for want of a rider the kingdom was lost etc. Stay tuned.... Stanley, do you monitor these posts???? It has been over a week since I posted the request on the Stanley Website and so far....no joy. Clearly they see this as once and done. The idea that Stanley will support a $180.00 pressure sprayer is obviously wrong! Continued... It has been several months now and despite numerous attempts to contact Stanley through their website, there has been absolutely no effort on their part to respond. The parts that make up my pressure washer with 4 hours use are going in the trash. I give up! Caveat Emptor!

Perfect for the homeowner
It’s difficult to research and find things you know very little about. I needed something that would fit in my garage without taking up much room to use for cleaning the driveway, rear deck and washing the car. Although I would have liked a higher-pressure washer, I settled for the Stanley SLP2050 2-in-1 pressure washer because of its size even though it was 2050 PSI and 1.4 GPM. It comes with a cart but is removable from the cart and there is an optional wall mount with an additional 25 feet of hose and an additional detergent bottle that stores in the hose holder. This bottle can be used as another soap dispenser but is not a “Foam Cannon” for the car. The wall mount is well worth the extra cost. I have used my neighbors 3000 psi gas pressure washer in the past, so I did a side by side test, on my driveway, of his machine and my new 2050 psi electric machine. There was no difference in the results between either pressure washer. The rotary spray head that comes standard really did the trick. After mounting the unit on the wall next to my water faucet, that is in the garage, I discovered that I can leave it mounted and still use it for car washing or other chores with the 50 ft. length of both hoses together. If I need the extra reach for cleaning the end of the driveway the machine is light and easy enough to remove from the mount and carry out into the driveway. The 35ft of electric power cord allows me to reach wherever I need to place it. When running on the wall mount the noise and vibration can only be heard in the laundry room on the other side of the wall but not in the rest of the house. For use on the back deck it is light enough that even my wife could remove it and carry it there. Other reasons why I purchased this pressure washer was their 2-year warranty, availability of parts and customer service. Many of the machines I looked at did not have this service available. In fact, one I looked at only had a 90-day replacement policy but no service or support after that. While researching pressure washers I called service and support a couple of times to ask questions about the product before purchasing. Response time was good and everybody I talked to were very professional and capable of answering all my questions without hurrying me. It was a good experience. There are only two criticisms that I can offer and nether one is a game changer. First, when mounted on the wall the off-on switch is under the handle and cannot be viewed to tell if the machine has power or not. I thought I turned it off but when draining the hose after turning the water off the machine started and ran for a few moments dry. I now unplug the machine first when putting it away. Second is the trigger pull on the wand. It is harder than on my neighbors’ gas-powered washer. I would suspect that is probably for safety, so you don’t inadvertently trigger it while changing tips. Finally, they use 22mmx15mm fittings instead of 22mmx14mm fittings so be sure you check before ordering to insure they are the right connections. Fit, finish, feel or whatever other metric you would use to evaluate this pressure washer will lead to the conclusion that this is a great and capable machine for home users with professional quality and build. It is well designed, well-built and something I can highly recommend to my friends without worry.

Enough pressure for all home jobs, lots of nozzles & better quality than expected
The Stanley was better than expected. Here is what I liked. 1. Enough pressure to clean bikes, Vespas, cars, brickwork, patio furniture. 2. Quality fittings that don't leak. I can use it to clean my showers in the house with no leaks. 3. Unit can be removed from cart to add portability and make storage easier. 4. Cart handle tubes unsnap to make it 1/2 as high for easier storage. 6. Comes with many nozzles and a turbo nozzle 7. End of handle on the pressure washer rotates to make it easy to remove the electric wire 8. Cart with 2 wheels is much better than one with 4 wheels. It stays in place on a driveway with a slope. 9. Uses standard quick release attachments, which allowed me to add an Adam's Foam Cannon soap dispenser for washing cars. 10. The 0 degree nozzle is great for removing grease on bicycle chains or cleaning the grout joints between brickwork. Things I didn't like. 1. The soap dispenser only works with the nozzle that has the biggest hole and lowest pressure. So, you cannot spay soap on a driveway stain with the high pressure nozzles. 2. Be careful with the 0 degree nozzle, I used it too close on a concrete patio and it left lines in the concrete. But that was my fault. 2. This is not really a negative, but you should not use this for a big job like stripping the lose paint off of 100 feet of wood fencing or a large patio. Get a gasoline powered pressure washer for any big job.

Solid unit, easy to use
Seems well made, and is easy to use. Pressure is good. Works fine, but a few things could be improved. Spray holder needed to be taped, because it slid to the ground. Hose connection did not easily disengage from unit, but not entirely clear if that was the machine or our hose. We have used it only about 3 times to date, so will see how it holds up over time.

Easy Assembly, Effective Product, Best For Residential Use
Purchased this power washer and have used it about 4 times now. Have used this to power wash the rear of my house -- patio, house exterior, and lawn furniture. Although I haven't used this product for an extended period of time, I am able to report on a few items: 1) Assembly -- this went very well and was very straightforward. I actually left the instruction manual in it's packaging, since all components were common sense and easy to install. You only need 1 Phillips head screwdriver and you're all set. Total assembly time is around 10 minutes. 2) Power Cord -- relatively lengthy power cord gets you wherever you need to go. I have a 100' extension cord, which can navigate me around most parts of my driveway and yard, so this is not really a concern in the first place. 3) Hose -- The hose is standard, nothing particularly good or bad. I do have difficulty in setting this up correctly in the hose reel, at the rear of the unit. Overall this is not a drawback, but a slight nuisance. 4) Power -- Not the most powerful at 2050 PSI, but I did not purchase this unit for industrial purposes. It cleans my patio, lawn furniture, house, and odds/ends perfectly as expected. However, this is NOT intended for industrial usage, and I would caution against using this unit for extremely large applications, as it would take more time. 5) Stability -- This unit does not tip or budge when I set it in place, which is a great feature. Also to note, this unit can dock to a wall mount, which I have not yet purchased but intend to. I am sure this would help the store the unit and get it out of the way.

Motor died from just occasional and gentle use
Such a well known brand yet with poor performance and motor dies from very occasional and gentle use such as spraying the car, washing garage floor and patio. Do not recommended. A total disappointment

Open box product was not appropriately described
We ordered this as an open box product. It was described as in good condition. It arrived and it had been clearly well used and then returned. There was still soap in the dispenser and water dripped out of the nozzle. There was no quality control here. Disappointing
