Gizmo Dorks Polyester Film PET Tape for 3D Printers and Printing, 8 x 8 inches, 10 Sheets per Pack

I dont know why it works, but it bloody does. I am using it on an XYZ Pro (heated bed) and on a minimaker (non heated). I apply it with a squeegee. I agitate the surface with a copper brush but I use a elmers extreme glue. Once you have a few prints under you belt you dont have to use much glue. I use an IPA wipe inbetween prints to make the glue sticky again. Object removal is easy and you dont tear it like masking tape.My only gripe is that it is difficult to peel the backing, perhaps a tape or corner pull tape ?

So far this film has seemed to work to match my expectation. It releases much easier than building on tape. I would strongly recommend that you lightly sand the surface with a few strokes of 400grit sandpaper, after you apply this tape to your build surface. This gives you enough texture that you don't get lifting during print, which was what my initial experience with this material was.Heat cycling of the bed also will let some loss of adhesion to the printer bed cause some bubbling of the tape, away from the bed surface. It is very important that you evenly spread this film, with the bed at operating temperature, to remove all/any air bubbles, and create as flat and uniform surface as you can.

On my first sheet, not really a fan so far. I'll give it another try, but honestly it didn't stick at all. It's also extremely slick and my prints would not stay in place, even with glue. So giving it a one star for now.

After a little trouble getting it to stick to the glass buildplate it turns out to be the best 3D printing surface ever. Your first layer is going to look like a gloss finish

By far this is the best product i have got for my 3d printer it sticks with no problem to the print bed and my prints come off with out a problem.

Works great on pla printing.

The sheets could be thicker and the adhesion could be better. When doing the first print, it printed like glass on most of it. What was disappointing is each sheet had seemed like it was dropped or not handled right during shipment, so there’s a kink right in the middle of every sheet, so if i print on 8x8x8, it’s going to show up on the base.
