It does the job and both heat settings work as expected (although I typically only need the lowest one).If you plan in getting this, make sure to have something that could hold the lamp (I use the reptile lamp holder stand).

Does the job but the bulb only lasted 2 days
So I've used very similar lamps before and this was to replace one that is a few years old. Lamp fitting seems fine and sets up easily but the bulb lasted 2 nights only, so the dogs are inside tonight
