Quality As Good As Original Fluke Leads, With Huge Clips, At a Much Better Price
I decided on this Amprobe set after studying all available options for my 1988 vintage Fluke 77/AN meter.(Still works perfectly, 25 years later) No doubt I made the right choice. For months I had the Fluke premium set on my wish list, At $24+. This set was $16.00 and came with the best clips/clamps I have seen.I think the great quality of the leads alone were a good buy. So I consider the clips like a huge bonus. And they are huge, and will grip any size wire I'm likely to encounter. The leads, compared with my Fluke leads look and feel about the same, very pliable. But in my opinion, the Amprobe plugs and probes are far superior to the Flukes. And just the 2 dinky little clips that I have with my Fluke now, are $28.00 alone. Ridiculous. If you are on the fence, don't hesitate, buy these. You will not be sorry. With the quality of this set, paying more for less, is a total waste of money. As you can see from the age of my meter, and I had a few others before the Fluke, I've been at this for a long time. So with my experience, and my assessment of this Amprobe set. I highly recommend it as a great buy with superb quality. Thanks for reading. I hope someone finds my review helpful in making a buying decision.

Very nice leads- great alligators!
Very nice set of multimeter leads. Alligators are large, open very wide, and have a strong spring and grip. Alligators and shroud tips screw on to the probes for secure fit (probes have threads). Build quality, fit and finish is excellent-- and the PVC has fairly good flex to it. Nicest leads I have-- nicer than the OEM. Worth the money for the quality!! Definitely recommend!Joseph

Impressive Quality for the Price
These PVC insulated leads are excellent, not quite Fluke quality but very close and they cost much less. The alligator clips are big and beefy, once they clamp on to something it's very secure. The plastic "handles" make them very easy to open and close with precision control. All connections are reliable and feel durable. The probes have threading near the tip that the alligator clips (or plastic protective covers) screw into for a secure connection. It's easy to remove or attach the alligator clips as needed. The probes work great with or without the alligator clips attached.Currently the Amazon product description indicates that these leads are silicone insulated, which is not the case. They are PVC insulated and will not work for extreme temperatures like silicone insulated leads will. If you need silicone insulated leads, check out the Fluke TL224 Fluke TL224 SureGrip Silicone Insulated Test Leads, Right Angle and Straight that work with Fluke AC285 clips Fluke AC285 SureGrip Alligator Clips. If you don't need silicone insulation get this product instead, the price is far better.

Good Value. Quality wires & plugs. HUGE clips !
Good quality wires and plugs. The points are more fully covered that what you see in the picture. Just barely 1/4" of the tip is exposed. It unscrews to allow the threaded Alligator Clips to screw on. What i did not expect, was the HUGE size of the alligator clips. These things are so big compared to the probes. Hardly usable for small needs.........

Absolutely excellent.
I wish more products were made this well. Prolly last me forever. These are NOT snap on clips. I don't know if others received or are just reviewing a different product but these are solid. Screw threads at the bottom of the leads, both the minimizing covers AND the gator clips screw onto the threads. Clamping seems to be an appropriate strength, heavy duty plastic, lightweight and strong. Kind of product you love telling people about. Take my money...

Well made and work perfectly with Innova
I bought these to use with an Innova 3320 multi-meter, and they work perfectly. I would absolutely buy these again and recommend to friends.I'm a home mechanic, but am able to do most of my own repairs. I had problems with a motorcycle and needed to test draw voltage. The problem was that the ignition key is at one end of the bike and the battery is pretty much at the other. I couldn't properly hold the standard probes on the battery terminals, reach the key to turn it on AND see the multi-meter to watch the response all at the same time. These leads arrived to save the day (thank you fast Prime shipping!) and I found them to be surprisingly well made. The alligator clips are pretty heavy and open more than enough to secure them on battery terminals.(It turned out that the battery had internal issues. It showed as fully charged at 12.30 volts, but dropped down to about 9 when I turned the key. A new Yuasa fixed that.)

Clever Design, Works with my Greenlee
I have a Greenlee DM-65, fits just as well as factory leads.Beyond compatibility - these are a pretty clever design. They're dual function! If you unscrew the covers, they become test probes and work as expected. but, near the base, there is threading. You simply slip over the clips and screw them onto the threads. Pretty excellent design, and I don't need a second set of leads to carry around. As for the clips themselves - another reviewer has posted close-ups of the clips. The clips are pretty solid, and quite sizeable. Probably 3" or so. The metal on the clips extends all the way to the tip of the "nose." So, you can clip it onto smaller objects to if space is an issue. All in all, these are pretty awesome for the price.

You Pay For Quality
Quality is built in. These are excellent leads with large alligator clips for handling those tough jobs. The tips have screw on covers that come off so you can have longer exposed metal to touch with. I really like how nice they feel and look. You get what you pay for and these are really nice. I almost bought cheaper ones to save some money but after receiving these, I'm glad I bought em. With Amazon Prime, they came in two days and I appreciate that very much. If you have doubts, let those worries disappear because you will be pleasantly surprised to use these on your meter..
