Works great to replace the broken piece on my V15. Now the bin doesn't come all the way off when I'm emptying it. Came with the right sized Phillips and torx screwdrivers to complete the job. Took 5-10 mins to complete.

Almost exact fit to replace original piece. Just a slightly wider gap between new piece and the part above it. Installed relatively easily. Glad to not have the bin come apart every time I empty it.

This item worked great on my V11 and solved the issue of the entire bin falling off every time you try to empty it. I was initially skeptical but after installing it I am pleased so far. Time will tell how it holds up but so far it works great and looks like the original. Install takes just a few minutes, take your time and be careful with the screws and it is not a big deal to install.

Would have given this 5 stars but the instuctions from the vendor on how to install it were seriously lacking. Thank God for YouTube. Other wise, it went on easy, fit properly and even afforded me the opportunity to clean and blow out the V15 motor, etc. Also replaced the bucket. Reason for all this? Bucket kept falling off when I would go to empty it. Plastic......what would you expect over time. Replacement parts appeared to be of quality and price was reasonable. As for durability.........."we'll see......"

This comes with two screwdrivers. Actually, one is a hex driver needed to remove the screw that holds on the bin runner. This is essential, unless you have a well stocked tool box with hex drivers. The other screwdriver is worthless. The other screws you need to remove are Philips head screws. A small screwdriver is provided but it is not big enough to remove the screws. From the factory, the screws are very tight (especially those that hold on the battery) and this little screwdriver is not big enough to apply the pressure to remove the screws. You can end up stripping out the heads if you try to use the included screwdriver. Get a screwdriver with a bigger handle, but make sure it has a precision Philips point. If you use too big of a point or it is a worn screwdriver, you risk stripping the heads. Use the instructions on the Amazon website. The box has a QR code to a YouTube video, but an important step is missing from the video. It only took about 15 minutes to replace the bin runner. This is a great cost effective solution. This particular one came in two days. There are other cheaper versions on Amazon, but delivery time is weeks. Some don't come with the hex driver. Dyson doesn't sell the "bin runner" by itself.... they would make you replace the whole body, which costs $130...and they only give a 1 year warranty....mine was 16 months and they wouldn't replace or even give me a discount. Side story: My vacuum stopped working. I spent time on the phone with Dyson and they told me to get a new body. It didn't seem to make sense to me, but I bought one (and this first time they gave me a discount). It didn't fix the problem...so, they said I needed a new battery. That did fix the problem. So, when the little stop on the bin runner broke, I called Dyson to see what kind of solutions they had. The only option they gave me was to replace the whole body at full price. For an $800 vacuum cleaner, I would expect better quality and service. I think you could build your own Dyson V12 from spare parts, much cheaper than buying a complete vacuum. A body is $130; a battery is $130; a charger is $30; a cannister is $30 and then you just need the tube and head.

It’s an excellent product from a reliable company. They even include the screwdrivers you need to replace the broken part. The oddly shaped screwdriver is only required at the end of the repair, but you can’t replace the part without it. Very nice experience.

Save yourself money by using this to repair your vac. Dyson told me to buy a new cyclone when this was all I needed. Perfect fit!

Solved my problem where the bin bottom wouldn't open, and often the bin would slide right off. Instalation was pretty easy, just a half-dozen screws. Use care to not cross-thread or over-tighten.

Works perfectly, my Dyson V11 no longer flys off the handle. To address complaints made by others, the screwdrivers are adequate- you will need to keep a lot of downwards pressure when removing the 4 screws that are deep within the body, but it's highly unlikely that any standard screwdriver would fit down the small opening. The head isn't a perfect fit for the Phillips head screws, but even a klutz like me got it work.
