Not the same thing with the Chinese one
The product is great but not for me. Will not return because i opened it. I actually want to buy the Chinese one. They have the same name but different taste and function.

1kg is too much, especially in a non-resealable bag
Disclosure. This is a review of a product I was sent for free via Vine. All opinions are my own. 1kg is the smallest size that this product comes in, which is too much in my opinion, as it will takes ages to use this quantity. I would much prefer say a 100g or 250g product, both to maintain freshness and for pantry space. Also the packet is not resealable, so even once I put as much as I could in one of my largest containers, I still had quite an amount left in the packet which I have clipped shut, but I don't find clips are effective enough at keeping an airtight seal for foodstuffs. I've tried making a cup of tea with it and discovered it has a slight sweetness to the flavour, which seemed ok but not great, although once I had finished drinking it, I had an aftertaste left in my mouth which I didn't particularly like. Also some of the angelica pieces are so tiny that they escape through the tea strainer holes, so I did end up with bits floating in the mug. I plan to try using it in soup next, but need to work out how to grind into a powder first. The webpage also gives some other suggestions like using it when making gin, or in pot pourri or for cake decorating. I'm not into making gin, so won't try that. I've researched online and I don't believe this product is the correct format of angelica for cake decorating - it sounds like you would need fresh stalks for that purpose. However pot pourri sounds a good idea. I did also investigate if this would be suitable for adding to winter feed for pets like tortoises but the consensus seems to be no.

A great natural product to experiment with
The 1kg quantity of Angelica Root Cut is substantial and offers great value for its price. We use it for making tea. It is easy, though the taste may be not to everyone's liking. We use it predominantly as an anti-inflammatory supplement. To "sweeten" the taste we take it with honey. A teaspoon of the root is sufficient to make a good cup. And so a kilo will last for quite some time. The quality of the product is good. This Angelica Root Cut is natural and free from additives, allowing us to enjoy its pure and unadulterated benefits. The freshness of the product is evident, and I can tell that only the best parts of the Angelica root have been carefully selected and packaged. As herbal remedy enthusiasts, we have experienced great results from incorporating Angelica Root Cut into the family's wellness routine. Its traditional uses in promoting digestive health, reducing inflammation, and supporting overall well-being have been evident in my own experiences. I appreciate the natural and holistic approach this herbal remedy offers. The root can be used in a great variety of ways and I highly recommend Angelica Root Cut to anyone looking for a high-quality botanical ingredient with a range of uses. Whether you are a craft distiller, herbal enthusiast, or simply someone looking to explore the benefits of natural remedies, this product is sure to impress with its quality, versatility, and purity.

unusual pack, good value brilliant
Mimea Angelica Root Cut impresses with its quality for distillation, offering a generous 1kg supply of natural, additive-free ingredients. The herb proves to be an unusual and brilliant choice for those into herbal remedies. However, the bag's size is commendable, but its quality doesn't match the excellence of the product. Despite this packaging drawback, Mimea Angelica Root Cut stands out for its herbal remedy potential, making it a worthwhile purchase for distillation enthusiasts.
