Should have bought one years ago -highly recommended.
Easy to use, it has internal amp limit settings for LED and shorts. It is light, easy to set up. I used mine to test 200 PITA christmas lights quickly. That really saved time and money. No noise, very accurate and compact.

A Huge Upgrade Over the Tiny Cheap Power Supplies I Started With
The Encoder Knob Feels Much Better Than ButtonsI didnโt think Iโd care much about the adjustment style, but the encoder knob makes changing values fast and smooth. It feels way less annoying than repeatedly pressing tiny buttons to move voltage up and down.Output Enable Button Is More Useful Than I ExpectedThis ended up becoming one of my favorite features. I can set voltage/current first, then enable output when Iโm ready instead of connecting live power immediately. That feels a lot safer when working on unknown boards.USB Quick Charge Is Actually HandyI originally thought the USB ports were kind of a gimmick, but Iโve used them more than expected for:PhonesUSB-powered toolsSmall development boardsNice bonus without needing another charger on the bench.Feels More Powerful Than Most Beginner Supplies10A gives enough headroom that I donโt constantly hit current limits during normal electronics work. It feels much more capable than the tiny beginner units I started with.djustment style, but the encoder knob makes changing values fast and smooth. It feels way less annoying than repeatedly pressing tiny buttons to move voltage up and down.

Versatile bench power supply
This unit is the "standard" size and shape for a 1-channel bench power supply. It's very light, too. Adjustments are easy to use and accurate, and the power output is sufficient for most lab bench projects. Supplied cables are adequate to reach from the unit on or just above your desk, to the device being powered. This unit appears to be fanless; maybe it only kicks on the fan when it gets hot, but anyway it seems to be completely silent. The USB output is handy as a bonus.Overall great value for money.

High-Precision Bench Power at a Budget Price
For a professional workbench or homelab setup, the DC Power Supply Variable with Encoder Adjustment is a versatile and compact solution that offers a significant step up from basic analog-knob units. Its combination of digital precision and safety features makes it a reliable choice for everything from charging batteries to testing custom PCB projects.Precision Controls and ErgonomicsThe high-precision encoder knob is the standout feature of this station. Unlike traditional potentiometers that can be sensitive and hard to dial in, this encoder allows you to press the knob to select a specific digit and rotate it for fine-tuned adjustments. This ensures you can set your voltage and current with 0.01V and 0.001A accuracy, which is essential when working with sensitive microcontrollers or 3.3V logic. Workflow and Safety FeaturesOutput Enable/Disable Button: This is a major workflow improvement. It allows you to set your parameters and verify them on the display before actually sending power to your load, preventing accidental overvoltage damage to your components.Overcurrent Protection (OCP): The built-in alarm and automatic output shutoff provide a critical safety net when testing new circuits for shorts.USB Fast Charging: The inclusion of an 18W USB port is a convenient addition for keeping mobile devices or USB-powered peripherals charged without cluttering the bench with extra adapters.Compact Bench FootprintMeasuring approximately 7.5" x 3.5" x 5.8" and weighing under 2.5 pounds, this unit is remarkably portable. It saves valuable space in a crowded rack or electronics station, making it easy to integrate alongside an oscilloscope and soldering station. The "Leads" FactorWhile the performance and technical features are excellent for the price point, the physical design is strictly functional. The unit does not include built-in hangers or integrated storage for the test leads when they are not in use. While this can lead to some bench clutter, it is a common trade-off in budget-friendly "switching" power supplies. For a cleaner setup, many users find that adding a small magnetic hook or 3-D printed hanger to the side of their bench is an easy way to address this.Final VerdictIf you are looking for a high-precision, digital-entry power supply that prioritizes accuracy and safety over industrial "frills," this unit is an outstanding value. It delivers consistent, reliable power for a wide range of electronics applications, and its small form factor is perfect for any modern workstation. You truly get a lot of technical performance for what you pay for.

Fantastic little power supply!
It has been working great for me so far. Even the overcurrent protection is spot on. I use power supplies like these to test new battery-powered device prototypes to determine their operating voltage range and current limits, by artificially limiting voltage/current to realistic battery conditions and simulating power drain under load. This supply allows me to do all of that with ease and has proven very accurate. It's polling rate could be slightly faster, but I'm not gonna knock it at this price. It absolutely gets the job done for a hobbyist-friendly price.

Excellent Choice For My Workbench
Love this DC Power Supply. It even remembers the last setting when turning it off and back on. That is very important when using the same voltage for most of my testing. It is so much better than using a car battery. I love the ability to control the amperage, so I don't have to use an inline fuse. It also shows how much wattage something is drawing, so you can tell if there is a problem with a device.

works perfect at a great price too RM
What a fantastic little power supply. very low ripple, strong adjustable volts and current displays. Buy it RM

Very good
Very compact, easy to use.

Good performance
User friendly and nice, very good product.
User
User friendly and it works fine
I observed no malfunctions during the few hours of continuous use I did of this power supply. I cannot yet comment on its durability. Since I don't intend to push the device to its limits, I asdume it will last longer. The user interface is intuitive and perfectly retains its voltage level and current limiting settings, even after being unplugged. The output remains inactive and requires manual intervention via the interface to be reactivated.
