Within 5 days and very light use the servo completely failed not very happy for a failure this big in a product that cost this much

Good build, no issues. Just keep in mind it is tippy, esp on pavement.

The quality control seems lackluster. 30 seconds into first battery slipper clutch quit. Not a big deal. Took it back apart and fixed it. Ok NOW let's roll... 30 seconds after the repair and pinion is loose.... Ok.... Not a big deal. (Other than the pain in the Asterisk * Body which well thats enough about that. Third time is a charm. THE BEST thing about this SCX6 is the box. Hear me out. When your wife finds out how much you payed or you can't make rent. The box is big enough to use as a temporary make shift shelter until you patch things up, however It's only good for one light rain. Have fun. :)

Fantastic RC, just way too large for what I wanted to do.

I’m an RC enthusiast and I also have a green jeep. Had to add this one to my collection. It is big! Parts are what you would expect from axial. Not sure if it’s crawling ability yet. Does get up and go. Good brand. Having fun with it so far.

Box was destroyed , item was used , all kinds of loose bolts all over the entire Rc crawler. Body scratched up. Runs and drives it quit working after about 2 hours of play time pinion fell off. Overall unhappy but it is what it is. I will fix it and drive it sometime soon.

Absolutes Monster! Mega im Gelände! Heftiges Teil!

First things first, it’s huge. Kiss the 1/10th scale goodbye for sure like 4 times the size It’s expensive and huge, but it’s built extremely well. I haven’t ran it OUTSIDE, but having ran inside and from my view the only con to this truck is probably the servo failing eventually, which is the case with it being 27lbs. It didn’t include tools so you’ll need them. The stock tires are awesome looking and very grippy. Rims too great bead-locks and nice looking! The lights are cool, headlights wish they had housings and not just stickers with a led shining through, but nice nonetheless. Parts are readily available, Radio is nice, spectrum quality. Lots of adjustments and the one handed steering is great. It runs up to a 4s lipo! Or lipos if you run paralle for more run time Don’t hesitate if you’re into crawlers and scale/trail trucks. Makes 1/10th scale look like a kids toy

I have many RC cars of all scales and the SCX6 is by far the most fun one to drive. It goes over everything. I don't even drive my 1/10th crawlers much anymore. My friend and I are laughing the whole time we run our SCX6's, both from amazement and just pure joy. The large size adds to the fun because you see and feel the weight as it maneuvers over obstacles. I've actually been quite surprised at some of the things it can climb. Two 3S-6000mAh batteries in parallel gives about 2 hours of operation. On my third run, while in the middle of a forest, it suddenly would not go anymore and was stranded. It's quite heavy, so make sure you bring something to pull it back to your car, like a strap/leash, in case it breaks down. The problem ended up being a loose grub-screw on the motor pinion gear... whoever factory-assembled it missed "thread-lock goes on the grub screw" training day.

En definitiva es el mejor RC que he comprado, gran detalle y el tamaño es realmente gigantesco. Duradero y de alta calidad.

When I first tried mine the transmission was clicking very loud. Videos of other SCX6s online did not sound like mine did. I was going to send it back to Amazon but decided to contact Horizon Hobby first (distributor). They asked me to go ahead and open up the transmission had see how much grease was in it. I found it was under greased and they had me re-grease it. I also found the set screw that holds the pinion gear to the motor was loose and was sliding back and forth on the motor shaft. It had no loctite on it. After I put it back together it still made noise but not as bad. I have run one 5200 mah pack through it now and the noise is getting better as the transmission wears in. It has a two year warranty so if it does pack in this was all documented. Otherwise this thing is a beast, I love it! I don't even want to take my 1/10th crawlers out now as all I want to do is run this. It is unbelievable how well this can crawl up stuff for the size and weight of it.
