I received a new copper pan for Christmas, but there was no lid. This lid works perfectly to cover. It is also oven proof up to specific temperature so makes being able to sear on the stove top and then transfer to the oven a breeze. The handle is of a silicone material and easy to grip. With other kids I have had the handle come loose, or even fall off and this handle appears to be made in a way that prevents that. There are no vent holes, provided so note that if you need to vent. I have found that just slightly angling the lid on the pan to create a gap solves the no vent issue as a work around.

This lids should come with the pan but it doesn't. Fits great on both of my 12 inch Lodge pans and my other 12 inch pan

Black knob / handle everyone is complaining about is actually made from spongy silicone. This is not the hard black plastic used in the past. I’m not placing this lid in dishwasher, only plan to use on stovetop. So, maybe knob will last a bit longer(?) Reviews also note the lack of a specific vent hole. That’s correct. But the pour spout on each side of my Lodge dual handle skillet/roaster will be venting plenty. This glass lid is perfect, it’s over-priced (but delivered quickly) and I hope the silicone handle lasts.

I just love this glass lid. It fits perfectly on my lodge cast iron skillet. It’s great to be able to see through it while cooking. Wish I could find them in different sizes for all my French cookware skillets.

My mom said it fits her skillets perfect.

I'm giving this four stars because it is the second one I've had to purchase. The first one, the screw I guess was stripped and therefore the handle came off. We tried gorilla glue but nothing would hold it in place. It fits the large cast iron by lodge and I use this daily almost. I have used on the smaller lodge pans when necessary but obviously not a tight seal as with the large skillet. if this one "breaks" like the other, I guess I'll just have to keep replacing. Note: it is rust resistant, easy to use and clean, good value, not lightweight.

Bought to replace 30 year old crocs put lid, fits perfectly but I needed to also add a rubber seal to make pot function as it should.

Within 40days the knob screw and thread worn out..... The quality is bad if the item can get damage within 40day of purchase.....

Fits my small Lodge fry-pan perfectly. It’s a good product.

It is just a glass lid!! But fits cast iron frying pans and skillets and does the job. Dishwasher safe and the price was right. Recommended.

Fits the pan great. People said it is "loose" but it is supposed to be - for expansion when pan heats up. No steam escapes as the metal ring has a drip edge that catches steam, which runs back into pan. It works great- seems expensive but is worth it.
