A: The label does not include the source but does state it is made with Non GMO ingredients. So source should not be from soy since most USA sourced soy is genetically modified; seed developed and distributed by Monsanto Chemical Corporation. It does not say if it is from an animal or plant source.

**Q: what is the actual amount of Phosphatidylserine  in each capsule? The label says 500mg of a "proprietary complex" including Phosphatidylserine.**
A: There is 500 mg in two (2) capsules of Phosphatidylserine and L Serine The key difference between L-serine and phosphatidylserine is that L-serine is a nonessential amino acid which is essential for the synthesis of phosphatidylserine while phosphatidylserine is a phospholipid and a component of the cell membrane.
