I have all sorts of nut and bolt checkers. They are all adequate. When I found these, I knew I had to purchase them. Metric and Imperial on the same cable! Handy to store. I hang them from a shelf. Easy to use. Accurate. As an armorer, I have a need to find replacement screws, nuts and bolt. This is by far the handiest tool for the job.

We use this thing almost every day. Why did we not have this before?

I had a 1/4" bolt that wouldn't fit the nut's I had but had no way of sizing it until now, it worked great, I now know that the bolt is metric!

They did the trick. They are great for finding sizes for loose nuts and bolts but beware if your trying to find size of hole on back of tv or other object. I had to cut the wire that keeps them together. But it worked.

I no longer have to search for the right size bolt or nut. saves time and energy (and that alone is worth a fortune

I purchsed this set of screw identifiers about a week go. First time I had to use it was today and I actually Forgot that I had it on my workbench, and I spent nearly 30 minutes trying to find a screw to repair something I was working on and Stupid Me only then I remembered that I had purchased the screw checker set and I spent a total of 5 minutes trying to figure out what size I needed and I was finished with the repair quicker than I expected and if I had remembered that I had that set before I spent 30 minutes looking for the correct size screw, I would’ve finished the Job a lot quicker than I did because my memory failed when I needed it the most!!!!!! As I said this a time saver and a Definite Must Have in any mechanics Toolbox!!

Not sure why i didnt get one a long time ago, its perfect and saves me time trying to find a blot especially on classic cars.

Saves you looking for the right size screw, saves trips to the hardware store... Now you know what size you need the first time.

This is well made, and looks almost like jewelry. The arrangement of thread testing fittings makes it very easy to use. The imperial and metric fittings have contrasting colors, so it easy it is easy to tell them apart. Having the fittings captive on a cable means none will ever get lost.

Works great , have it hanging in the shop , very useful when repairing small engines and you lose aScrew or nut
