I've used many military land nav kits, so I can say with confidence that this is a great kit. While you can find nicer compasses out there it is hard to beat the quality for the price. You can spend more on just a compass than this entire kit costs so don't expect it to be super fancy, but you don't need super fancy. I will be using this kit as-is and don't feel a need to upgrade any part of it.

I always really enjoyed Land Nav but have no idea where any of my stuff wen t, this is a very nice set, the compass could be upgraded for better night readability but for anyone not relying on them for combat nav these will do fine.

Compass is not the best. Had some issues with it on multiple movements.

Very nice Brunton military compass, pace beads, protractor and marks. All are very high quality and had no defects. Amazing value!! Definitely recommend this one. ~ Chesapeake
