It cuts up to a 55° bevel has a great line of sight and is durable. Does as good if not better then any other high end brand, Dewalt, Milwaukee etc and only costs half the price! The only thing I would have liked to have was a case for it but I'm very happy with my purchase! If it ever stops working I'd definitely buy another one but I probably won't have to! I've built several houses with it, including cutting the rafters, hips, valleys etc and it still cuts like a dream. I bought a Diablo 24 tooth framing blade on Amazon with it and there's no limit to what it can cut FAST AND ACCURATELY! I RECOMMEND THIS SAW TO ANY CONTRACTOR OR DIYS HOME OWNER! PORTER CABLE IS A GREAT BRAND AND I THINK IS UNDER ESTIMATED. THANK YOU! This saw is lightweight and powerful. I replaced an antique (literally, more than three decades old black and decker), so the markedly reduced weight, increased power, and no safety button to hold on the handle next to the trigger were much appreciated. Strictly for DIY (clearly I am not a pro), but for cutting 2"X 4" wood, decking and landscape timbers (two passes) it works well. With the old saw it was hard to cut a landscape timber on wide side, then flip it to cut from the other side. It was hard to line up the second cut, but this saw is much easier. I substituted a Freud D0724X Diablo 7-1/4-Inch 24 Tooth ATB Carbide Framing Saw Blade for the supplied blade (based on customer reviews), and the saw gives a quick clean cut.For the price, this is a good saw.

I am satisfied with my purchase. Good Product / Value. I like how easy to use it is, the price, and how durable it has been so far since purchasing. Had to get a circular saw for when I needed to cut against the grain - wide stock - when a miter saw wouldn’t be enough.

Good price for a good tool this is definitely a dyi tool not professional grade but gets job done for projects home owners will take on. I recommend a good blade buy a Diablo brand blade which are incredibly good and will last . If need a professional work site tool then you have to go with a dewalt. I have used the porter cable around the farm and it has been up to everything I have thrown at it

I purchased this saw over the summer to knock out a bunch of projects around the house. I have been using a small 18v 5 inch saw for the last few years and needed something with more bite and power so I purchased this porter cable saw. This thing is amazing. It feels good in my hands. It has TONS of power and it seems pretty rugged. It's been kicked around a bit over the summer while I built two fences, a shed, some stairs, a medium sized deck, 4 large planter boxes and a workbench for my garage. I've got easily 50 hours on this saw. No complaints here - especially for the price.

If you're looking for a saw that has accessible brushes, a stiff base plate, no extra buttons to push in order to start and cuts like a dream with a nice Diablo blade, this is the saw. The only downside is the cord is stiff but I'll find a way to soften the rubber or replace it.

Pretty sturdy for a lightweight circ. saw. Powerful motor, I use it to cut fiberglass sandwhiched pvc80 core foam. Great price for a professional tool. Very ergonomic grip controls. Comfortable and quiet to run. Dont let the lower price fool you.

Muy buena, motor, uso, solo un defecto, no es muy confiable el punto de apoyo de la sierra, ya que tiene bastante juego hacia los lados y hace que los cortes no sean exactos, pero ni modo, ya no puedo reclamar. Ya intenté tratando de dejarla más firme y no se puede. Tu e que comprar mejor una de Mesa.
