HD Glamour Creme Foundation Warm Super Palette - 18 High Definition Warm Undertone Cream Shades

My mother had someone do her makeup professionally for a company headshot, and the artist chose Graftobian. The unforgiving, high-def, digital photo was alright for her and her coworkers, but the iPhone selfie she sent of the group was amazing. We immediately bought a palette days later. PROS: - Full coverage, as light or as heavy as needed with natural results - Blending across colors is a breeze; running out of one color doesn't mean the whole palette has to go - With the right brush, can give airbrush-like results - Buildable coverage from sheer to caked-on CONS: - Wipes off very easily, so requires a setting powder to stay put - For heavy, everyday usage, small palettes may not be enough for some - Takes some practice to blend between colors flawlessly; beginners may be a little intimidated As a medium-light AA woman, this palette has single-handedly (if it has hands) changed the way I apply makeup. I've been using this product for five months now and it's gotten even better and easier to use. First, the palette has enough shades to cover my skin tone, no matter what season I'm in. My winter pale goes as far as the second row middle and left, while my summer glow goes as deep as the third row left, all while maintaining a natural-looking coverage for my yellow-undertoned skin. Most big store brands like CoverGirl, Revlon, and Maybelline only cater to those with pink or biege undertones. Whenever I wore those brands, my face came out looking ashen or orangey or clay red. Graftobian hits it just right with enough colors that stay true to yellow, incorporating the warmth needed for my skin tone. I would say the best part is all the versatility. If I spent the weekend out on a boat or laying on the grass in the sun, the next day when heading to work or a special event, I wouldn't need to re-assess my whole cosmetics collection to find a new shade. The multiple pads allow me to mix and match accordingly, and apply as much or as little (often little) as needed to match flawlessly with a flash tan. Special mention goes to the "Sienna" (I believe) which is the deepest hue, and FABULOUS for a contouring look. Overall, I really enjoy this makeup. The only cons would be the small size of the colors and staying power. A little does go a long way, but unless I experience a Michael Jackson-like skin makeover where I am magically five shades lighter, I may end up collecting 'used' palettes with leftover very fair and very deep tones. As far as lasting power, I have oily skin by nature so my makeup requires finishing powder to set. For me, this makeup rubs off in a New York minute without it. Other than that, it's lightweight, creme nature works as an advantage. Just remember, the best looking makeup sits on top of healthy, moisturized skin! When my face breaks out something fierce, I definitely notice it isn't as nice looking as when I'm consistent with hydrating and washing and exfoliating. So don't forget to make sure it's a quality canvas. ;)

So this is a MUST for makeup artists who are looking for a convenient way of transporting their foundations! I live in the Caribbean and there's such a wide range of skin tones. Its very easy to mix these shades to get a person's match, all because there is a wide range of shades and only a small amount is needed (like the size of an eraser at the end of a pencil)! This a foundation that doubles as a concealer. No oily feel. No creasing. No weird white looking film on face when the cameras flash! The packaging was great. Yes you do get sort of 'water marks' on each shade when you first open them but all you need to do is wipe it away with your finger. Trust me... cameras LOVE this foundation... try it and you'll see!

I ended up getting the wrong palette shade so I ordered the cool palette which I was able to better match my skin color. The warm palette was too dark and although you can mix and match these, I just couldn't get the right match as I needed a more "redness" thrown in to make it work....and that was only on the cool palette. But the quality of this foundation is super, a little goes a long way and I prefer this to liquid as I find it stays on my face a lot longer and better. I have oily skin but this hasn't caused me any breakouts, works great as a concealer as well. Coverage is excellent and I can wear this makeup all day long without any problems. Little pricey, but I will only buy the colors that I really use (which is 3-5 off the palette), as I don't use the whole palette, so it should cut the cost down in the future. This is a great cost saving alternative to more expensive makeup that pros use.

This is my first experience with Graftobian and I'm pleased with my purchase. The palette arrived in perfect condition, and while it had a little condensation, I knew to expect that with creamy formulas. I bought this for my pro kit, and used it recently on several clients. PROS: it is very creamy and soft, blends easily, sheers down well when mixed with moisturizer, and has a vast array of shades that suit many light to dark tones. It takes very little product to cover a face with light to medium coverage and so I can easily see this lasting for up to 100 clients. CONS: I was hoping to get super full coverage with this but I couldn't. It could be my technique. It covers and conceals spots well, don't get me wrong, but I haven't figured out how to get that full face full coverage look from this. I'm going to keep trying and will update if I figure it out. It creases within minutes under the eye area (as other reviewers have mentioned) no matter the age of my client, and that's my biggest complaint. I just smooth it out and powder more to set. Otherwise, I would still recommend this palette, and look forward to purchasing more products from Graftobian.
