I don't often take the time to post reviews, but I was surprised at how the item I received looked even better than the online photos! Color is fabulous, fit is loose and comfy without looking like I'm wearing a bedsheet. Thank you for an outstanding product that more than lived up to my expectations.

This is very fancy and goes perfectly with your beachside cocktail. However: the only difference among the sizes is how far from the outer edge of the fabric the seam is sewn. We ended up ripping out both side seams and redoing them just an inch from the edges so everyone’s caftan was as loose and flowy as possible. The largest sizes (2X and 3X) had far less flowiness than the smaller ones, but redoing the side seams farther out helped a lot. The fabric is fine, the print is super bright and clear, and the pockets are so great to have. So: if you can’t find your size in your pattern, and you have access to a sewing machine and a seam ripper, buy any size and fix it.

This caftan is absolutely wonderful. It so so comfortable. I change into them the minute I get home and it is all I wear. It is cool and comfortable yet it keeps me comfortable with the air conditioning when it is cold. Soft silky material. It washes well. No problem there. . I use cold water and hang to dry. I bought two of them and am very satisfied. I have worn them since early May. If there are any problems down the line I will update this review.

Miss Lavish needs a new photographer! I was stunned when I took this out of the bag. The colors were bright and the kaftan itself was gorgeous. I ordered it semi-reluctantly. I have a couple other Miss L's kaftans and I thought I had bought all the attractive ones (I like Miss L's kaftans because they come in actual SIZES, so you can get ones that actually FIT). I love kaftans and I was tired of ordered kaftans and SWIMMING in them so I decided to order another Miss L. I already had the teal (gorgeous) and the green (less pretty, but OK) ones and the remaining ones all looked like variations of the teal one I already had or ugly old lady house dresses I couldn't stand. So I decided to order the black one as the most different and least objectionable. BOY AM I GLAD I DID! The actual kaftan is SO much prettier than the photo! Bright, vibrant colors with a stand out pattern I love! And being a Miss L, it FITS, ie, I don't look like a HOUSE! PLEASE, Miss L, buy some additional fabrics (that are NOT ugly old lady fabrics). NO ONE makes fitted kaftans - you have this corner of the market to yourself. Provide a service and make some money at the same time!

For the price it’s great nightgown. Day dress around s house. Can’t see through material. Easy care . Plenty of room. I used a belt sound it.

Bought this to wear at VBS as costume. It was so comfortable and vibrant. I received many compliments. Fit true to size I was very satisfied with it.

I have this black and also the navy in the same pattern and I love them. I can only wear these poly caftans in the winter season because they are to hot otherwise, but these are so pretty. The fabric is on the higher end of thickness which seems to create less static cling. The deep Vneck is flattering and the pattern has deep jewel tone colors, they are really beautiful. I purchased the size 14-18 and I was worried because I usually like the generous fit of the one-size, but I am glad I did. The 14-18 is seamed a little closer to the body and it creates a more flattering fit. But, I will say the 14-18 fits more like a 8-12, depending on how you prefer your caftan. It may fit a 14-18, but it may not be loose and flowing away from the body. I kind of went caftan crazy in the last couple of years and these Miss Lavish are by far my favorites.

Ok, curvy ladies this review is for you. I bought the larger sized kaftan to be used as a bathing suit coverup. This kaftan is made from a rectangular piece of fabric so when it is sewn together at body width, creates a ruffle of fabric going down the outside edges. Now, I'm not really keen on adding any (more) width at the hips and it felt a bit tent-like yet confining so at first I wasn't impressed. However, all that excess fabric had potential, so I decided to open up the side seams to the natural waist line and now I LOVE this kaftan. It feels exotic, flowy, comfortable and just a bit sexy. There is a lot of fabric here so it doesn't really open up to reveal the legs (maybe it would if the wind caught it) and is still a great coverup but it moves with me and around me instead of "on" me. This is a five minute job that only needs pointy scissors or a seam ripper from the dollar store and a needle and thread to secure the seam at the desired point.
