If so that would hold moisture!** A: They seem to be made from a moisture-wicking material. We have used these for years and have never had an issue with moisture affecting the hearing aids themselves. They do eventually get dirty enough to affect sound transparency and then need to be washed or replaced. **Q: Is Material porous enough not to effect sound transmission that has to go thru it ?
