Nicely packaged but a little misleading
I haven't cracked this open to see what relay is inside but given its ratings and size I'd guess it's a simple relay, LED/resistor indicator, and PCB carrier. The specs in the listing are probably for the RELAY because they're written exactly how relays get rated for AC/DC usage. The problem is the wires. The "switched" side is definitely beefier but although I can't read the writing, looks to be about 18AWG. That's really marginal for switching an 8A load, even if the relay is rated for it. If you want some safety factor and don't mind just an SPST device (which is all most use cases need anyway) you can just parallel them. But I do wish they had taken a moment and gone with 16AWG wire on that side. Apart from anything else, if you're actually switching a load above 5A, the circuit you're switching is almost certainly going to have a thicker wire so even if the unit will be fine you're still mating different wire gauges...

Relay allows something to be turned on or off when it senses current. Workd great!
I used this because I had 2 battery charging devices in my RV. One had to be on only when the engine was on and the other only when the engine was off. I connected the sensor wire from this to a 12v power source that comes on with the engine/ignition and one output to each of the 2 devices. Problem solved.

Work for connecting my Driveway monitor to a wired door sensor to work with Echos.
I'm totally blind! I got this being I needed a relay to be able to connect the 12V output on my driveway monitor to an electronic door sensor that had a switched magnet trigger. The driveway monitor has about an 12V about 150/350MA output. Being this relay required very little power to trigger I figured it would work. So I ttook a chance on it and got it.Being totally blind! I had to use a Talking multi meter to determine what wire whir the closed default connection and open connection. After that, Had to have someone tell me what color the other two wires whir. New one would be hot and the other ground; Just not what was what. If you have the 4 wires on the left and the two on the right with the screw mounts down! The HOT wire is near the top on the right side and is Blue in color. At least that was what I was told. The bottom one on the right is Green and I guessed that would be ground being normally Black or Green is ground. Then again using the talking multi meter found out what was hot and ground coming off the plug for the driveway monitor. Hooked it up and triggered the driveway monitor and heard a click from the relay and the LED on the front of it lit up acording to my light detector. Then when the driveway monitor reset! Hear another click when power was cut. Then clipped off the magnetic switch on the wireless door sensor and connected it up to the lower left 2 wires on the relay for an open connection. Triggered the wireless driveway monitor and the wireless door sensor when using talkback on my cell phone went from Open to Closed status and back to open when the driveway monitor reset.Lastly went into the Alexa App and created the routine that said wen the door sensor named(Driveway Monitor sensor) showed CLOSED then announce through all Echos in the house that "there is a vehicle in the driveway". Then tripped the driveway monitor sensor again and all the Echos announced "there is a vehicle in the driveway".The driveway monitor itself works off of magnetics and detects iorn in the vehicle and not motion. So me this works for what I got it for and I did the wiring myself. Improvement for this is the ground or hot wires could have had a different design. Like one smooth and the other a ruff coding. then a person like myself would have been able to tell by touch what was what.
