Was easy to put together by two people. I love it's architectural details ("crown" top, arches, "beadboard" sides and back) and it fits perfectly in its intended small space. Using It In The kitchen For Her Cooking Books. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice for the Price *by C***M on May 2, 2024* I bought two of these bookcases for my living room. Assembly was not difficult, but I did have to stop and study one screw which made little sense to me. At that point, I sought an assembly vid online, but found none. I highlighted this screw in the picture array. There are no grooves in the wood, so be careful and guide the screws to keep them straight. (The only tool necessary in assembly is a Phillips screwdriver.) I timed the assembly, and took me 1:36 from start to finish.The unit did not arrive in perfect condition. As you can see in the picture array, one corner was damaged. I did not deem it sufficient enough to return, and in another picture I show my repair of the damage. However, being mass produced, one curved piece was a bit short, and you can see the dowels. That bothered me enough that I took it apart just enough to darken those dowels with magic marker, so it would not keep catching my eye. The second bookcase took me less time to assemble and did not have any damage, but the curved piece was also slightly short on that one, too.Even with that, I think these bookcases are nice for the price.
