Great for Gourmet or Snacks *
There are tons of recipes for canned crab, but my favoite is using it in dressing. Yes, that's right. A can in dressing makes your stuffing incredible. You can serve it as a stand alone dressing or get gourmet and creative and stuff your fish with it. I've stuffed white fish and giant shrimp with it. When I want to stay KETO, I'll soak some red lentils (you can even use brown lentils) for a few hours in water. Drain off the water and rinse well. It's best to cream the lentils. That can be a food processor (if I'm making a small amount, I just use my individual sized smoothie maker.) Then, go ahead and make up your dressing with the crab meat, lentils and whatever seasonings you want. Stuff your fish , shrimp or whatever and bake. My sister likes to mix the crab meat with cream cheese and smear on crackers, but I prefer stuffing fish with the crab dressing. I recommend this and thank you for reading my review.

You cannot eat this!
I am a big fan of Bumble Bee products. I use the salmon products on a daily basis. Having said that, I recently bought 6 cans of Bumble Bee White Crabmeat. I just opened a can and it is full of water and so salty that it is inedible. I tasted it to be certain, and there is absolutely no crab flavor! I want to return the 5 unopened cans.

My fried-rice favorite!
This is my go to when making my quick Thai crab fried rice or general seafood fried rice. It is very flavorful and easily blends in throughout the dish given the crab particle size. Fried rice is very quick so the crab retains its flavor. Do not expect big flakes or lumps, more like rice-sized bits in this version. The drained water is also delicious and I use it either directly on the rice near the end of frying or combined with oyster sauce for a flavor boost.

Great for side dish
This can of crab meat is surprisingly not bad. Plenty of meat in a small can. But there are two things that I think can be pro or con, depends on your usage. 1. Not much taste. I guess it's expected since it's not refined. Can be a good thing to mix with something else. 2. Very finely minced. So don't expect any meat chunk at all. It's good if use it to make crab cake. But then again, using canned crab meat to make crab cakes just wouldn't taste as good as fresh crab meat.

Crab soup made with this crab meat was wonderful.
I didn't like the large amount of meat in our soup from the l lb. can of meat my husband was finding in the refrigerator section in brick and mortar store. This small can of meat made a really good crab soup for this land person anyway. My husband is a east coast person and he like it too. Might be because we have a good recipe made with a can of celery soup, small carton of cream, Tablespoon of Old bay, small amount of Worcestershire powder & onion powder, butter product, this small can of crab meat was perfect. I haven't finish my mug of soup yet, but no shell or grit yet knock on wood. The grit and shell was on the bottom of my mug, but not a lot just wouldn't eat that part next time, quite a bit of crab meat bottom of my mug too. Weird texture but still good flavor. No fishy smell. Our very first time to try cream of crab of soup we tried a can of lump crab and it had a lot of fishy smell. 2nd try to make cream of crab soup we tried claw meat it had no fishy smell. This is our 3rd can and third time to try cream of crab soup. Again no fishy smell. Overall this is my preference because I like a lot of cream of soup with just a little bit of crab meat, lol.

Canned crab meat
I had to try this canned crab meat. Not bad but pretty tasteless. Enough meat for one crab cake so I made one Maryland style crab cake. I didn’t expect much and it didn’t deliver much. It was nothing like a Maryland style crab cake. Not recommended.

Good if you know how to drain liquid
Drain it like tuna. Completely open can with a can opener. Press the can lid down into the crab meat to press the water out of it - and drain. Repeat process until the crab meat is dry. Pretty good meat after that.

Horrible product and doesn't even taste like crab
Terrible product. The crab doesn't taste like crab at all and is just like the leftover crumbs in the bottom of the barrel. I will never buy this again nor would I suggest that anyone buy it.
