Excellent and easy solution to reversing a servo

OK you would think that these are a simple fix to reverse a servo. Just disconect at the receiver end and insert the reverser into the receiver then connect the servo lead at the other and hey presto - nothing works! I get a nice little LED showing the current is there but no reaction at all from the servo. Back to using right to turn left and left to turn right I guess.

I needed this to reverse the front wheel turning action, after I had to replace the original servo and only had a standard servo, and it turned in reverse to the original. The connection is a Y-cable from servo to rudder and wheel, so I hoped by getting one of these and connect it to the wheel connection it would then all be good. And yes this reverse cable does work, and my wheel turned correctly after installation. Unfortunately it causes the other half of the Y-connection to stop working, so loosing the rudder action in my case. So seems I'll have to order a servo with the right action instead.

The two servo reversers I received both had the connectors wired incorrectly for standard servo and receiver connections and as a result did not work when connected. It didn't really matter to me because I wanted to hard wire one anyway. The clue was the connector for the servo was marked 'IN' on the circuit board and the receiver was marked 'OUT'. I've attached a photo of one of the reversers and if you compare it with the photo in the listing you'll see the problem. They seem to work fine when wired correctly, but they only get 2 stars for effort.

But be aware, it will slow down the servo speed while doing the reverse. So, if you have a setup with 2 servos, and you need one of them reversed, this will not work for you. One servo will work full speed, the other one will be slower.

Used this previously without any issues. The last batch were all faulty and caused the servo to jitter like crazy. Returned for a refund. Maybe just a bad batch and i was unlucky.
