Hi Brandon, Thank you for your question. Our Thor KBs are made from cast iron and powder coated however, we would not advise for it to be used in hitting. The KBs are designed to be used as weights for various workout routines but was not intended for slamming or hitting. If you're looking for an equipment to hit a tire, I would suggest the Odin sledgehammer instead as it's equipped with vulcanized rubber head and is intended for this purpose. Hope this helps! Can I do farmers walks with them?

Much harder grip with each weight increase. Not an easy carry handle like kettle bell.

Is this good for Hammer Curls?🤔

Hammer curls (no pun intended,) but not standard curls - unless you have the wrist strength of a Norse god. All kidding aside, I tap out on bicep curls for reps at around 45 lbs with a normal dumbbell, and I have the 35 pound hammer and can get maybe five or six reps at best with the head of hammer facing down.
