I got this during the infamous 2020 summer. I wanted something I could sit and relax in since we were all doing a whole lot of nothing during that time. I did a TON of research and decided on this style of frame.And then I researched further about the different materials you can get - and how they each held up under different weather conditions, and went with the Sunbrella version. I was NOT disappointed. I even accidentally left it out last winter and didn't bother to bring it in -- I sat down on it today, and was happy to see it was still taut and in beautiful condition. I don't know what they use to keep it from getting gross from typical PNW rain and muck, but it does the trick! I will throw it in the wash later, but I honestly don't need to - that's how nice it still is. That specific material costs extra, but I think it's been totally worth it.

I purchased this for my husband as a gift and after reading the reviews. I saw the review about rust but figured maybe it was a one time defective issue.We didn’t put it together until a few weeks later after receiving because we were doing projects, long story short we left out one night after about the 4th day of being built and there was a drizzle rain that fell over night. Go out the next morning and see RUST!! rust at the bottom of the base! There was no water pooling as a matter of fact there was hardly any water at all on the floor from the “drizzle” we had. Needless to say I was very upset. I went to a big box store got a rust protector for outdoors and sprayed the heck out the whole base. I’m hoping it doesn’t continue to rust. Again left out for one night only besides that it has been living inside our garage. Super annoying to have spent a pretty penny for an item sold as outdoor and can’t even stand a drizzle. Don’t even want to imagine what it would look like after May showers in our city.Positives: easy to assemble and can adjust easilyNegative: easily creates rust

Well, I haven't tried it yet. It has been occupied by my husband and little dogs since it was put together. Somehow tomorrow it is getting out of my foyer! I have found them sleeping or cuddling in it since Fathers Day. He loved that he could adjust it and it seems sturdy, and is beautiful. I think it was a winner!

I can't say enough great things about this hammock. I'm 6'2", 280lbs and this is comfortable for me. If it holds me it will hold anyone. The umbrella material keeps you cool on those hot days. This is so easy to assemble I would consider bringing it with me for a day at that beach. The price you pay for this setup is worth it. My son and wife were able to sit in this hammock with room to spare. I look forward to spending many days in this hammock.

We are enjoying this Hammock. The Hammock is very well manufactured and appears to be very durable. We use a heavy duty coat hanger with clips to store it after each use. The stand is okay, but tube male/female connections are loose fitting. One of the bolts I received will not tighten because the head of the bolt spins in the plastic cap that you use to tighten. It doesn’t appear that the Stand was designed to be tightened very tight because of the plastic knob and the slot in the tube. With the bolt tightening against the slot in the tube, I think there should be a washer like the one used on the wing nut. It also seems to me that the tubes do not have a very tight fit allowing the pieces to move easily front to back and side to side. It took almost 2 weeks to get replacement bolts.

Easy to assemble, and it is very comfortable. I find that my wife has to fight to use it, as our children simply can't get enough of it.
