Yes I bought this for a dog. I have a puppy who has managed to evade every gate I own by either watching me open it or figuring out how to get past it. Each was properly installed and frankly worked for years with other dogs, large, small, motivated or not. My trainer recommended this gate and it restored sanity in the house. It was easy to install, opens easily (once you get the hang of it), snaps open and I see absolutely no way a dog or more importantly a small child could open it unassisted. I’ve just ordered my second one for a different doorway. This is literally the only gate I’d ever recommend again especially near stairs for kids.

This is an attractive baby/pet gate. It was fairly easy to install. After a few days of use I had to tighten (add more tension to) one of the posts once it settled in position. I use it as a pet gate for my apartment front door. My cat can’t dart out when I come home. I can easily open the door so my cat can enjoy fresh air and people watching

We got this for our bedroom door mostly to keep the dogs out of the carpeted areas. I like how easily it sets up just put it in the doorway tighten the pressure mounts and you’re done. They made the decorative door mesh out of plastic wish it were metal but it still works and looks great the door also auto swings shut behind you.

The best, most sturdy baby gates. We had 2 of these, needed a third and decided to try a slightly less expensive brand. It was flimsy and difficult to install…returned and bought a 3rd one of these! I love that they close and latch (a bit loud, but when your hands are full sometimes you just need to be able to nudge the gate with your foot and know that it is latched! And if you need to be quiet you just close by hand. So sturdy and my almost 4 yo still can’t open himself. Win.

I like this gate because it’s solid!! It was easy to attach to the wall with the wall brace! It holds the gate in place without damaging the wall!!

Received it brand new today September 16, 2025 and it came broken/damaged. Gate won't and can't close. Seems it was badly manufactured. (view images) Now I have to return it. Money wasted.

This is a nice looking gate and it is very sturdy. I like the fact that you have to use a wrench to tighten it against the wall so it can’t come undone with little fingers. The only gripe that I have about this product is it doesn’t open both ways swings open one direction.

I love the way this gate opens all the way back and stays open when you do not need it closed! It works great!

Well made. As ad text states, it comes “warped”. This is on purpose, it insures that there is outward tension against walls and not gate. We were really impressed with how well made this thing is. Gate is spring loaded to close, but also to stay open. There is a clever mechanism that once you have opened the gate past a certain point stops trying to close it and reverses spring force to hold gate open. Spring is fairly strong and I attached small piece of felt to gate edge to prevent it from damage wall (where it made contact when fully opened). Instructions are set of diagrams, note that you lift the gate to open. After less than a week we have ordered a second unit. We are that impressed.

The only baby gate my son hasn't managed to rip down! It's a little expensive but provides great piece of mind. He's now 2 and it's still going strong!

Received new gate, but missing extensions... Solid metal gate...the intricate design is made of what appears to be durable plastic... If the extensions weren't missing I would have kept it.

Needed to do some MAJOR adjustments I have to see how it will work out for my future. Designed for indoors but will make it work for keeping animals out of my garden so far I am pleased
