Before getting it, we had our 60" TV mounted on the wall above a small media stand, which was completely dwarfed by the TV. The new one looks so much proportionate with the TV, since it's 6 feet long. The instructions were clear and assembly was straightforward, thanks to the well labeled parts and pieces. It does helps to have a second person, because it's difficult to balance the large pieces alone.My only beef is that one of the main pieces came damaged. It was the long bottom piece, and the supporting wood around it on both sides cracked, allowing the screws to come out and the boards pull away from each other. The box had no damage, so I think it may have happened from improper handling during shipping, which torqued the boards. Luckily I was able to put some glue in the crack and put in a screw on either side of the crack to rejoin the boards.
