I've used this at least over a dozen times and the bristles hasn't flaked off. Seems I have to use the 2 corners to get to the hard spots. Only down side about using the bristle kind is it that the stuff I scrape off tends to fling back at me. So I have to brush one way or step to the side. So far, it's good.

This brush has a long handle, so your hand doesn't get too hot brushing your grill. It is twice as wide as my last, ordinary brush, so it makes quicker work getting the job done. A design advance!
