Size mentioned in the product details is 10 mm diameter. Almost all the sticks I got were 9.2 -9.5 mm diameter, some of them were 8.5 mm as well. Not a single stick was 10 mm dia. We needed it for a specific purpose, that was not served. Before you order, please check if variation in diameter will work for you. Finish was fine.

It is not 10 mm thick
Description says 10mm. But dowells are less than 10 mm. Because it is about 8mm it does not suite my purpose as it does not fit the hole I have in the wood. Also it’s quite flimsy. Waste of money.
