Losing good people throughout the story gives me a feeling of being invested in the narrative. Love this being based in my home state too. Getting caught up with the companion series is going to take a while, Yes !

Love all his books. Found a few grammar errors, but nothing to confuse the reader. I have read all his books.

I never in a million years would've figured the direction in B this series! I can't wait for "what's next" in the adventures of the wild hunt teams. Amazing!

Well-written and engaging as always, the 3rd in the series adds new twists and turns to the story of the Clarks and their Dog Soldier allies. The story draws the reader in and doesn’t let go until finding oneself asking is that all? Roberts continues to find ways to further the series with all the action and drama expected and even adds in a surprise tie-in that refers to another of his awesome series.A four-legged beast is killing innocents in Sloan county, and Sheriff Amanda Sanchez-Clark is determined to stop it. With the aid of a new found ally as well as Grandfather Jay, she faces down an evil derived from her past while experiencing dizzying changes in her life. Faced with a critical decision, she must dace this new enemy while making the most important choice of her life so far.This is worth the read and difficult to stop once started. I recommend the entire LakeView Man series as well as the other series written by Roberts.

MONSTERS! Another enjoyable read from this Author! & again I can't help wondering if this 'stuff' isn't really going on? & this is just drip drip drip ?

The story became a little weird when our heroine turned into a vampire but the storyline straightened itself out and become a page-turner. I love that Mrs. Clark’s character has been developed and we see her the way her husband sees her, as beautiful and lovable.

I heard Cam read a chapter of Odin's Call so I had to go out and get the series. Then I had to go looking for more and saw Lakeview Man was the introduction of Clark, but so much more! All throughout this series there were hints and breadcrumbs telling me there's more out there!

When considering the timeline of D A Roberts books, I always wondered how it would all end for characters I thoroughly enjoyed reading about. After all, a certain Zombie Apocalypse series with a viking protagonist was supposed to be at the end of it all. Yet hopefully, events in this book have pushed that series to an alternate universe, so I can continue reading about the Dog Soldiers, Team Odin and the rest of the crew for years to come.As always, burnt through this in a few hours and was not disappointed in any way. Roll on the next adventure!

Another fantastic book by Mr DA Roberts. Once I started I couldn’t put it down and ended up finishing it in one sitting, except for a few trips to the kitchen for more coffee of course. If you’ve read the other books on the series this is a must, if you haven’t, what are you waiting for!?
