It is the same as Alaway by B&L. These drops are effective at just 2 drops per day. Opcon-A, Vasocon-A and Naphcon-A are all really old type of allergy drops that you need to use up to 4 times a day for maximum effectiveness. You must be careful with the vasoconstrictor aspect because once you stop using them, it is possible to have a "rebound" effect where you're eyes will turn twice as red. This is why we also do not like to recommend drops like Visine. For over-the-counter, Zaditor or Alaway are the best and I agree, adding artificial tears (Systane, Refresh Tears, Theratears, GenTeal, Blink, and several other NAME BRAND drops) can be useful. Often red eyes are a combination of dry eyes and allergies.
