Juanita, Freedom Seeker: Volume 2

A young person's book. Juana the protagonist with character, shows the reader through words and deeds the importance of team work, honesty. She is growing up and must learn to navigate the various emotions she comes to feel in a culture that is not quite hers. There are book 1 and book 2 which may be read as stand-alone or together.. I have not seen any of the ancillary materials book which accompany , but they might be worth investigating.

Book is easy to comprehend. Great for easy reading. Lots of family values are incorporated in the story. I highly recommend this book.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading the books (vol 1&2. Not only was it an easy read but has a relatable , heartwarming and value-loaded storyline.
