High quality tubes at a reasonable price
Continental race tubes have always been my tube of choice because of the balance of quality and price, they retain air well, can be patched when needed, and have always been consistently uniform. Never has any issues with poor quality valves. I always carry a spare tube, along with a patch kit (Park Tools VP-1) and a CO2 inflator, and have yet to have to walk home.

Always seem to be consistent quality
These always seem to be of a consistent quality, I've never had one go bad from bad quality control. They fit as expected and are durable enough to do the job when being installed or removed. I may switch to TPU but for the time being, these are what I buy consistently.

The valves fail on these
These work fine for a while but the valve mechanism quits working after a while. I replaced the presta valve core and same problem. I bought these one other time and had the same problem. There must be something inferior with the valve bodies that keep the core from sealing… either that or there is something with the tube material that corrodes the stems. Perhaps it’s an indicator so I will say the air that comes out of them has that really nasty smell (much worse than others). My other brands do not. I will definitely not be buying Conti tubes anymore.
