Served: The Club Series Paperback – August 26, 2021

This is a story that delivers the feelings right to you. A great story about two people's paths crossing in a way to finally find the person they wanted and needed in their life. April Berry does a great job making you feel the Georgia heat in Atlanta and between Luce and Jason. A great read.

I listened to the audible book and loved it. The narrator makes this story come to life. She shows so much emotion in her voice. An excellent job.This is a spicy romance that was a fun read/listen. I started it before bed… that was a mistake as I ended up staying up past 5am!I loved all these characters and love that it’s a series as I’m hoping I get to revisit Lucy & Jason.This book has a tw for sexual assault and handles the subject well. It doesn’t get dismissed and touches on how important it is to report it.

I loved this book. Keeps you wanting more I could not put it down.get well written and flows perfectly. Can not wait to read more books by April.

so every thought i had was voice by the characters which i like alot. ilove that the friend and family had the female MC back but still let her know her if something isnt right and that luce was able to recognize what they are telling after the conversation and grow as a person. i appreciate that jason knew what he need to do in the beginning ( thats all im says so no spoilers) . i will be adding this book to my playlist to get me out of slump. i want to know so much more about her friend jaz. The narrator did aa great job at bring these character to life. This 18+check triggers.

I enjoyed this book. All the characters were relatable and realistic. The issue that April touched on it a real life issue that are hardly spoken about. So extra kudos to her for bringing awareness and showing that when one person stands up, the others who were alto afraid can gain courage to stand up as well.The narrator for the audible of this story did a good job. I would’ve enjoyed hearing a man actually read Jason’s part, but she still did a great job of reading him and Lucy.I loved how April showed Jason’s sensitivity and vulnerability and showed that it’s okay for men to be vulnerable. His love and support for Lucy was perfect. I loved that Lucy, with the help of her best friend, found the courage to step up and speak out about what happened to her. I loved how she was finally able to realize her flaws and work on fixing them and learning that in a relationship she couldn’t just keep taking without giving. I wish that Jason would’ve been the one to tell Lucy his history about his ex instead of her sister-in-law.This is the first time I have read a book by April and I will be reading more.

April has done it again!!! The FMC hit a little close to home, but man this was so well written it got me in the feels!!! Not to mention the narrator is amazing!!! Eliza is wonderful!!

I found this book after following the author on the clock app lolI had never read anything by her and the book sounding interesting. I am so glad I did.She took serious subjects and wrote about them well. Didn’t write them in too graphic of detail but enough to make you feel like you were in the characters head for the journey.Jason was a great character and I really liked him a lot. He was on the insecure side which is unusual for romance heroes. It was refreshing.I did have a problem with some of the phrases but that was minor. Also I didn’t like how he never discussed his past with her, she had to hear it from someone else. Only so much time in a book I know but it just felt a little rushed overall.I am going to check out some of the authors other books also though.

Served was such a fun read. It had just the right amount of everything. I really enjoyed the story of Lucy and Jason.Lucy always seems to pick the wrong man. Jason was always the brooding bartender. But when these two come together, finally it is a story that will make you smile, laugh and cry.If you want a great romance read, you need to read this book. I will place a trigger warning though due to an attempted sexual assault.

Triggers: there is some SA in this story, so just be aware of that. This story was sweet. Between the friendship of Amy and Lucy and the way Jason crushed over her for so long but came with his own baggage made for a great read. Who doesn’t notice the hottie behind the bar? Come on Lucy! Get it together!!
