I’ve had this on my cat for a little over a month and I have been pleasantly surprised. So far I have not noticed a single stray flea when she comes inside, despite the fact that there was recently a flea hatch out in one of the spots she frequently visits (yes this is being handled as well). And the only thing I noticed is it does have an odor, but it isn’t overwhelming by any means. I will stress that anyone who uses this product read the instructions. I don’t believe you are supposed to medicate your animal on top of placing the flea collar on them (this means insuring any prior medication is well out of their system). It seems such errors have caused issues with animals like those mentioned within this comment thread (one of my biggest concerns w/ this product). However, my cat did not become ill in any way following the application.

We have been using these for our cats for years and Amazon had a better price rather than in store! Highly recommend using this product if you have a cat it stays on very well. Hasn’t irritated skin or fur. Thank goodness she’s a girl so the color purple looks good on her! Haven’t seen a tick or flea so product works very well.

Really disappointed in these flea collars. Bought these for indoor only cats when we found a few fleas on them. A month later the flea problem was so bad that we did the 24 hour kill pill plus a topical to put an end to the flea problem. Was hoping that flea collars had improved, but sadly they are the pipe dream that they’ve always been. Just suck it up and move up to a topical.

Yes you will find 1 or 2 fleas still on your cat if they go outside or if you have carpet, but without these my cats were infested. Great product for management, won’t break, but don’t think it solves everything.

Great flea collar I bought for my cats. I only wish that you had different colors like blue for boys and pink for girls just a thought. It’s very it’s very easy to put on would buy again.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I don’t think this brand is good as Sreto Sreto really gets rid of the fleas, but I still noticed getting bit by fleas with this Heart’s Brand even though I shampooed and vacuumed my floor. I’m still getting bit by fleas and both of my cats have this collar on it’s supposed to last for Six months or so. I know that Soresto does but to me I’m noticing that hearts doesn’t really work as well as Sreto.

The collar was easy to put on and fits nicely, without causing any discomfort to my cat. Within a few days, I noticed that my furry friend became much calmer and more active. The fleas that had been bothering her disappeared, and now she can enjoy roaming around the house without any worries.Additionally, the collar has a pleasant smell and looks stylish, which is a nice bonus. I also appreciated its long-lasting effectiveness—it’s very convenient and economical.Overall, I am completely satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend this collar to all cat owners. It really works and makes life more comfortable for your pet!

They do ok at flea removal, but not great. It has to be used with other things, so I think the $5 flea collar does just as well. Won't buy this version next time, as the value to price is just not there at $30. They are durable, but have some overall issues with effectiveness.
