These are so cool! They have a plastic (? not sure if it is made of plastic. It is like a latex or plastic glove consistency) on the inside which keeps the bananas fresher for longer. The cute part is the outside. It is a crocheted little character. I got the mouse, and it's adorable. It looks so cute on a bunch of bananas.Please be aware that this fits best on slightly smaller bunches of bananas. I get mine from Costco, and have to pull a couple off before I attach this.

This was a waste of money. It’s super cute but did nothing to help the bananas last longer as advertised. It didn’t matter if I only used it on a small amount or a large amount of bananas, they still went bad in a couple days as usual.

Very disappointed in this product too cute the hats are sweet but bananas ripened just as quickly as if I didn’t use this product

I saw this somewhere and had to try it.It does seem to make the bananas last a little longer and is a cute article to have on the stem.Good price and will probably last a lifetime.

good product and it does help bananas stay fresh for more than a couple of days. Can be hard to fit sometimes over the bananas if you have more than four.

I probably should have thought about this one a little longer, but it came recommended from a reputable website, so I bought one. I got the strawberry - or maybe it's a watermelon? - and yes, it does make a bunch of bananas look cute. So a star for that.But what these little caps are _supposed_ to do is delay ripening, and being a lover of slightly-green bananas, that's what I was after. So I did an experiment. I bought a bunch of bananas and split it into two separate sub-bunches. I capped one of them with the Nana Hat and left the others like I always have*. The result? They ripened at about the same rate. If anything, the capped bananas may have ripened just a touch faster, although I'm not sure how significant the difference is - or would be, with multiple tries.This is very disappointing. As a slightly-green banana lover, it's back to the drawing board for me - only buy them when they look right, eat them within a couple of days.*Discerning scientists will note that thus far this experiment only has an N of 1, and I have the Nana Hat now so I'll be doing repeat experiments. If subsequent experiments go differently, I will update this review.

These covers do keep the bananas from over ripening. They stay yellow and spit free longer.

I tried 5 times to put the large Nana Hats on the stem of 6 bananas and each time the Nana Hat popped off 10 to 20 minutes later. One time i pushed the hat on so hard, I split the top of two bananas. The Nana Hats simply didn’t work for me and are being thrown in the trash

The silicone is quite thick. It is not possible to stretch it enough to make a tight seal that will keep the bananas fresh.

I thought for the price I would try these. Keeps the bananas fresh at least another week. Recommend.

I am not impressed by this purchase. I ordered two hats as a gift. One of the packages was smashed and patched up with a lot of tape. When I removed the tape I noticed that the hate was covered in black dust. Honestly I didn’t expect such indifference from such a cute brand as nana.hats. I believe that they could have replaced a broken package and cleaned the dust before sending to a customer.
