Review: Second time ordering, 100% germination - This is my second order from this vendor. I have had excellent luck with these seeds. I live in zone 4 so I start them as soon as I can work my garden beds and they seem to thrive in the cool. They have been in frost, they have been snowed on and they absolutely love it. It is a sweet, crunchy bok choy and I pick them when they get about 5-7 inches tall. My kids hate celery, so I just use bok choy instead. It germinates within days, and grows quick. I stock up in the spring and fall. When I harvest, I simply wash them, spin them dry in my lettuce spinner and what we don't eat right away, I process and freeze for a later date. I find it freezes really well. Unlike other produce, I can take frozen and add it to stir fry's and I still get the crunch I am looking for. Some I chop so I can add handfuls to soups, sliced for stir fry's, whole, or however you want. I 100% recommend. Just FYI, my daughter took a few seeds back to Southern California and she initially struggled a bit with them. Once she moved them to a cooler location on her balcony they were better. This is my second order from this vendor. I have had excellent luck with these seeds. I live in zone 4 so I start them as soon as I can work my garden beds and they seem to thrive in the cool. They have been in frost, they have been snowed on and they absolutely love it. It is a sweet, crunchy bok choy and I pick them when they get about 5-7 inches tall. My kids hate celery, so I just use bok choy instead. It germinates within days, and grows quick. I stock up in the spring and fall. When I harvest, I simply wash them, spin them dry in my lettuce spinner and what we don't eat right away, I process and freeze for a later date. I find it freezes really well. Unlike other produce, I can take frozen and add it to stir fry's and I still get the crunch I am looking for. Some I chop so I can add handfuls to soups, sliced for stir fry's, whole, or however you want. I 100% recommend.
