Great little lights, excellent value
I like these little lights. At the time of writing I got two of these little AAA lights for just under twelve dollars including tax.At six dollars each I think these are a great value. The light is the length of an Olight i3t but feels thinner. The light will always default to "high" when turned on. Personally I like to start at low so I'm not blinded and then click up to high. Most people want to pull out their light and be able to blind an intruder or light up a room immediately, so they prefer it to start on high. That's personal preference.Turn it on for high, click again for low. Both modes are decent. I don't think the high is as high as an i3t and the low feels like around 15 lumens to me, but I don't have the equipment to measure. For this price does it matter? The high is plenty bright and the low is useful but not blinding. What you would use the strobe for, I don't know, but if you click another time, it's there. Maybe to attract attention if you're lost in the dark? These run on any old AAA battery you have lying around. Don't put a 2.4 or 3.7 volt battery in. Just stick to 1.5 volt alkaline or a rechargeable (usually around 1.2 volts). The black light I got is black, but the gold one looks more like a pale green. It's fine. In fact it's probably better. Again, personal preference. The light feels like decently solid aluminum of some kind. It weighs just about nothing. The clip is reversible. Not "2-way" but reversible as in "pull it off, turn it around, and stick it on the other end" reversible. Nothing is "wrong" with the clip but it feels like the weakest part of the light. Probably the clip will wear out and break if used a lot. If it does, I'll use the light without a clip, or I will find a removable space-pen or pokka pen clip, or a clip from another light, and use that.I bought these to use as "I don't care if I lose it" lights (keep in a glove box, first aid kit, a toolbox, a drawer...) but I've been using one since I received it and I find I like it quite a bit. Some reviewers report the lights "glitch" after some use. Mine have not. If either one does I'll update my review (yes, I will actually do this). For what you're paying for these, they are a surprising value. I'll be picking up some more while the price is right.

Great cheap lights
Love these little flashlights. Cheap enough i don't mind if they get beat up or lost, but bright and small enough to carry every day. I'm an electronics technician and work in a lot of tiny spaces. I will probably buy another set if they go out. If they made a red light option I would be very pleased.

Nice flashlight. Eats batteries
Works well. "Bright" mode is very bright. I sometimes have to switch over to the dimmer setting because it's TOO bright. This flashlight eats batteries like they are potato chips. I was working on a project at home where I needed to be able to see in some dark corners for a while and I think I replaced the battery 2 or 3 times in one evening. Uses standard AAA battery.Seems sturdy. Rubber button on the back works well. 3 modes - Bright-off-less bright-off-flashing.

They’re very bright and compact friendly
Small but affective flashlight that shawn’s brighter than I expected. They’re complex sizes that I take with me everywhere.

Nice price for a nice light or two.
Nice pocket flashlights for a good price. I've carried a ThruNite, a NiteFox, and a Skilhunt (2.3 - 2.4 inches), as well as LuminTop (2.6 inches), which are about an inch smaller than the Ansypers (3.4 inch) but the Ansypers have a multifunction push-button tail switch vs a twist on / off which is a good feature. What's cool is a single push of the switch (on/off is always brightest first) and a short "waiting period" will always make the first button go on to bright. You don't have to cycle bright - low - strobe each time. It sounds confusing but it's a nice feature. The clip is a nice add on. Easy to handle. The 5.2 inch version is just as good and has extra life with two batteries. Very good buy.

Good enough for utility work
Bright enough. 180 lumens isn't going to light up the entire basement, but that's not what you're after anyway. Beam spread is kinda tight for general purpose work, but will do for most applications. Works great with 1.2V Eneloop rechargeables. (I haven't run one down yet, so can't report on battery life.) Cap switch is good and has a good feel to it. Half-press mode change activation is predictable. The thing always starts up in full brightness, so that's also predictive. The threads on the cap are raw aluminum, so I -- as always -- cleaned up the threads and treated them with Breakfree to keep them clean and shiny. Machine work is so-so. exterior anodyzing is fine.Yeah, "water resistant." Like a plastic fake-wood fence in the front yard is "runaway car resistant." In other words, don't drop this thing in water. Using it in the rain _might_ be okay.Overall these lights seem like they're okay for five and a half bux apiece. I haven't seen anything better on Amazon for that level of dough, but there are plenty of vendors still to go. Kinda getting tired of buying all this kaka just to see if any of it is any good.

Small but Mighty
I got a two pack of the small ones. For a penlight oh so small these are great. Ruggedly built and did I I mention small? Keep a spare battery handy, but they work well with NiMh rechargeable AAA battery. I’m going to order more to give as gifts when camping or canoeing with friends and family. Fits in your pocket with adequate clip so it’s there when you need it. It doesn’t replace my 3 cell LED Maglites, it compliments them.

Tiny but mighty!
Very tiny flashlight about the size of my kids pinky. However, the beam of light is very strong. I like it and it fits well on my day pack.
