Kills most weeds, not Floratam
I've been using this for about a year now. It is the only product I've found that does not kill my Floratam grass. It is pretty effective if you use it every 2 weeks, but if you miss a treatment, your weeds will come back. Doesn't kill dollar weed and takes several applications to kill most other weeds, but it still beats pulling by hand.

easy to use and safe.
I applied this product in late January on a 60 degree day. It took two aplications to see that it did do what it was adversized to do. It was easy and safe to use . it did kill the clover. This product was cheaper as compaired to other. very effective on my lawn. I feel like this product will do better when the weather is warmer and the ground warms up. I am happy with this product.

Kind of Works on Clover
Used specifically for clover. It kind of worked but did not completely kill. Some sections the clover turned black and died and other sections it did nothing. I’ve read that the clover needs to be young, once it matures this stuff may not work as well.

Works great! Here's my method.
This saved us from being overrun by dandelions! We haven't used herbicides for over a decade because of how toxic most are. We were trying to weed dandelions in our grass by hand. We couldn't keep ahead of their spread! (And it was so much work!) I've been using this product since spring of this year and it's now late summer. I spot spray the dandelions in our lawn and in our periwinkle. I really saturate each dandelion. We are making great progress! Our lawn looks much nicer. I'm using a two gallon pump sprayer. I also bought a hose sprayer that mixes as you spray for our rental house where the yard is FULL of dandelions. (But I haven't tried it yet.) With spot spraying I find I need to go around and check ideally sometime between 12 hrs and 2 days for dandelions that aren't fully dying. I spray those again. Often one spray kills the dandelions, two times almost always does. But there may be some extra hardy ones that need to be sprayed more times depending on how well established they are. I think once we get the dandelions eradicated I'll need to do my method twice a year to maintain a dandelion free yard. I'm hoping I'll only need to spray each one one time at that point since they won't be established. I try to spray when it won't rain for at least a couple days and also pause our sprinklers from the time I start spraying until a couple days after my final spray. Also I go around and grab any flowers left behind after a day or two so they won't re-seed. (Especially the ones that ripened after spraying.) They're easy to grab because the stalks rot after spraying. Also watch the temperature. This spray works best when it's between 60-80 degrees outside and where the temperature will stay in that range for at least a few hours after you spray. The pores on the leaves close at hotter/cooler temps and this product must absorb through the leaves. I feel like the lawnweed brew actually kills dandelions better than the deadweed brew, although the deadweed brew works on a lot more weeds and works really well and really fast. (It kills all plants, though, so you can't use it in your lawn without killing the grass.) Also if you spot spray you will have black spots in your grass for a while after you spray until the grass recovers. After that it'll be healthy and beautiful!

Does not work in cool temperatures as advertised
My actual rating is 0 stars but Amazon requires at least 1 to submit a review. This product does not work on dandelion or plantain when applied according to the recommended dose and directions at a daytime temperature in the upper 50s and low 60s and a nighttime temperature in the 30s. The grass and soil was dry and remained dry for days after application. At first some of the dandelion leaves turned black but the they continued to grow and sprout new leaves. The spray had no effect on plantain whatsoever. The product apparently does not work at cool temperatures as advertised. I recommend not using it northern climates like here in Idaho until a hot summer day with daytime temperature's in the 80s and nighttime temperatures in the 40s or 50s. And I would run a test on a small area before treating a large area. The manufacturer needs to be more forthcoming on the real minimum daytime and nighttime temperatures for the product to actually kill the weeds as advertised. I wasted a lot of time and money treating about a half acre of grass. Maybe the recommended dose is too low for alkaline soils in cooler temperatures.

Not as effective as the spray bottle
I've used the spray bottle for the last 2 years and it works great. I decided to try this concentrate and broadly spray the lawn this year. Even using a pretty strong water ratio (I could see the brownness as I sprayed) this just didn't apply to the weeds as well as the spray bottle. It's more work using the spray bottle for sure, as you have to get on your knees and spray each weed, but it just works better. After using this concentrate, most of the weeds looked a little sickly, but not straight up dead like I'm used to with the direct spray bottle application. I'll be going back to the spray bottle next time.

Captain Jack's Lawnweed Brew Is Effective On Lesser Celandine
This is the only product I've found that puts a dent in Lesser Celandine—Ficaria Verna, an invasive plant—while not harming grass, desired plants, or critters. It takes a couple of days after spraying to see results—shriveled, blackened leaves. Photo shows effect (on top) two warm days after spraying; bottom is yet to be sprayed. Best effect if spayed on warm days when leaves are dry. Lesser Celandine requires multiple treatments, over multiple seasons, as this ephemeral invasive plant has tubers from which it sprouts new leaves. Captain Jack's Lawnweed Brew seems to be the same formulation as Bonide's older product WeedBeater Fe.

Safe for your grass
Works great on St Augustine grass. Spray it on with a pump up sprayer will not hurt the grass. Kills weeds. May take a couple applications.
