Great tool carrier!
I’ve had this for a while and used it quite a bit. I haven’t used the shoulder straps because the rollers and handle work so well. It’s amazingly heavy duty and I can put a ton of stuff in there, from my drill and an extra battery to large rolls of tape and any hand tool that I need. There are so many pockets (covered and open) that I must admit to having occasionally forgotten which pocket I put a certain tool in.

Amazing backpack, very well made.
This backpack is awesome, there’s so much room and plenty of pockets and holders for tools or whatever you could choose to place in these spots. The welding hood portion actually un zippers from the main backpack and has its own backpack straps on it as well. The inside of the welding hood pack has a very nice and soft/smooth lining to protect your lenses. There’s also another spot on the main bag that has the same material to store a laptop, tablet or even your phone. As I’ve said, many pockets inside the bag and some on the outside sides. The bag also has padded straps and a padded back layer for your back. The zippers work very well, but be careful if you remove the welding hood portion from the main pack. When getting towards the top curve you will feel a snag, that’s where the straps are located for the smaller pack.It also has a d-ring on the outside that you can clip a carabiner onto or hang your speaker from, or whatever you choose. This thing would make an amazing pack for fishing as well, it’s large enough to hold several 3700 cases in and still have PLENTY of room for soft plastic lures and tackle. You will not be disappointed in this purchase, extremely nice backpack.

Roomy rolling bag
The is well made and sturdy. It has a lot of room for different tools. However, it is a little bigger than I expected. I wish it was a tad smaller. Having said that, I'm sure I'll grow into it and use it all the time.

Purchased Dec 3rd.
Hi, I love this bag but I've only had it for about six months and the handle broke off. If this is seen, can someone from Melotough contact me here!? I would like to purchase a replacement handle with the screws if possible. Otherwise, great tool bag. Very handy. Thank you!Update: Reached an awesome customer service base and received a free replacement handle that installed perfectly. This bag is super handy and carries a bunch of tools and very versatile with moving around because of the wheels. I highly recommend it!

Holds your welding hood!
Great backpack to hold your welding hood (main reason for this purchase). Only wish it had more dividers / compartments on the inside. Definitely not a backpack to hold all of your tools—mostly a grab n go welding essential backpack. This thing has been thrown around and it has been showing it’s durability. For that reason it gets a 5 star from me. I will update with any issues.

Bottom isn't reinforced.
I don't recommend this bag for professionals. I have tool backpacks that I use in my trade and the ones that last have rubber reinforcement on the handles and the base. This has neither. It's got a great big spot for a laptop. The last thing I take with me when I go on site is a laptop. What I do take is tools. I recommend backpacks with more tool cards and a good handle. If you do roof work and climb ladders that are protected by cages, the removable helmet bag is nice since that bag part can sometimes grab. It's two trips with the helmet part off but better than lugging up the ladder one handed. The material is a bit more robust than a standard high-schooler's backpack. It's just not reinforced in the areas where it's needed like the handle and the base. The straps aren't necessarily that comfortable either when this is loaded. It does have serious stitching and heavy gauge 600D fabric. It will likely last if you baby the bottom of the bag and don't work on gravel or concrete much.If you want a good welding backpack look at Melotough's Extreme Gear. It's basically the same price as this but has a gigantic storage area that can hold a little inverter stick welder and folded PPE. I wasn't able to fit my leathers into this bag where I could fit the leathers and the arc welder into the Extreme Gear.If you work on rough surfaces like roof or asphalt I recommend the bags from Welkinland. They cost more but the upgrade is well worth the expense.

Awesome tool backpack
I work in the cable broadband industry as a network technician. I work in a major city which requires me to carry my tool bag everywhere I go. This roller backpack has been a lifesaver. It fits all my tools perfectly. If I need to walk around the city with my tools I can just roll it with me and if I need to use stairs I can use as a backpack. You won’t find a better combo backpack/roller bag anywhere else and especially for the price. I would definitely recommend this backpack.
