6755 Grill Cover for Char-Griller Akorn Kamado, Heavy Duty Waterproof, Rip-Resistant, Blcak

I have a Char-Griller Akorn Kamado grill. This cover is better than the original one, which rotted & disintegrated. It fits more easily than the original & the handle on top makes it so much easier to pull off the grill!

This covers my grill perfectly. It just covers the wheels without dragging on the ground. It is constructed of a heavy duty, water-proof material that appears strong, yet flexible. I especially like the handle at the top which makes it a breeze when removing the cover. It is also helpful when placing the cover back on the grill. My grill stays outside on our deck year round, and is partially protected. We'll see how it lasts the Summer and Winter. I hope I'm not disappointed, as it appears to be very well made. I'd buy it again, as the price is right.

Well-made, perfect fit for our Komodo. It would’ve been nice to have a Velcro strap at the base to tighten up around the base or maybe a foot up.

Replaced original Akorn Kamado cover. Much better fit than original (was too tight) and thicker, more durable material.

Great quality and does the job well but wish it had a tie at the bottom to get a tighter close in the grill around the ash pan

Fits perfect, with wiggle room. Strap for easy removal. It protects against the elements rain, humidity. Glad I decided to give it a try.

I ordered this cover in March of 2023 for my kettle style Acorn grill. Fits well. It's on my south facing deck 24/7 and through midwest winters so it gets beat up pretty good. I expect these to last 4-5 years in my setup. Started to notice moisture getting through the cover this year in 2025. And most recently this weekend (Aug 2025) opened the cover to find the entire bottom ash carrier full of water and the grate completely molded over. After taking the cover off, I could basically see through the top of the cover from the inside - looked more less like pin holes everywhere on it. But the top looked normal from the exterior. I believe the interior lining had basically disappeared, so it was more less a cloth towel over the grill - obviously I didn't realize it had gotten this bad. Anyways I typically replace covers every 4-5 years or so, but I've never had it where water has completely gone through it to the point of filling the grill with water, let alone after 2.5 years. Usually I start seeing cracks in the exterior fabric and know it's time to buy a new one. I've owned my Akorn Grill since 2010, and fear this may have destroyed it as the bottom was very rusty. So off to find a new grill cover, won't be this brand. I would point out I expect these to hold up for 4-5 years. I believe this is my 3rd cover I've bough since 2010 for this grill, and this by far shortest they've lasted. I would also note Akron grills aren't porcelain style grills meant to last a life time. so I take care of this grill. But other covers I have bought economically have lasted much longer and seemed to have a better interior coating to block the water. I would also note my situation is probably a torture test for these in Illinois on my south facing deck all year. Obviously something more shaded might last much longer than my situation. So is it trash, probably not. It was really nice this first year, and I thought it was gunna last 5 years based on previous covers. Just didn't pass the torture test and essentially turned into a cotton towel type material on the top. Just be aware and look out for that top to start thinning and you know it's time to get a new one.
