I mounted some ammo cans to my ROPS with u-bolts and used this material to prevent metal-to-metal contact. Works great so far. Seems tough and durable.

It worked as a gasket but I'm using it on a kitchen stovetop and even after a couple weeks it still smells terrible

I purchased this item as part of a bathroom remodel project to provide high-friction, but pliable shims under porcelain objects. The 1/8 neoprene was the perfect thickness and easy to work with. I was able to cut it with normal scissors, but could have used a razor knife just as easily. It did have a mild 'rubber' smell to it when first opened up, but that faded quickly. The product lays flat naturally, and was perfect for my application. I used contact cement as the adhesive between the neoprene and the porcelain surface. They bonded instantly, and I had no difficulties with installation. I have plenty of product left over, and I plan to use it on other at-home projects. I will definitely reorder when I run out.

It Works as advertised.

I used this on a 13 yr. old truck bed cover to replace the seal over the hinge. Less than a week later it had cracked and split worse than the piece I replaced. I checked the part of the roll I had left over which had never been exposed to the sun or any other elements and it appears to be dry rotted as I could easily tear it with my hands. This should not happen to new Neoprene rubber. Total waste of money and time. Not worth one star but couldn't submit unless I checked at least one.

This stuff tears almost like paper.
