Quality self tapping screws
Like these. They look and feel nice. They probably are 304 stainless which is marine quality. Like the Phillips/hex heads meaning they can be screwed in and then tightened with a wrench. Not had one shear so are good, but I am aware this stainless will not be as strong as carbon steel.
