Product does ship with a broken tamper seal
Product does come filled to the brim and is of good value despite the seal being broken on one side. I did not notice any spill. I have not tasted this nor checked for freshness. It does smell just like all the other brands I tried. I'm using this product to keep the rabbits away from my plants to which I have not yet tried, but have no reason to think it is not what it claims to be.If you buy this, be aware, it may be shipped with the seal broken but it is still a good value. It just looks like the seal has weak stickiness.

Dogs Stay Off
I had dogs using my front for their bathroom, and owners that didn’t clean it up. I picked it up, and that got old fast.I have been spreading this over the area once a week and have not seen a canine deposit since.

Does not deter critters
I have used hot pepper to deter critters from my garden before. Bought this bulk container as it advertised being strong enough to keep them away from my plants. Failed entirely.

Good heat, good value size
I actually didn’t buy this for cooking, but I tasted it when it arrived. It’s a nice heat for spicy cooks. I liked it a lot. I’m sure the squirrels I’m using it to repel will not find it nearly as appealing…which is just fine for my vegetable garden! One note on shipping though. The package arrive in a soft plastic wrapper that allowed the plastic container to be dented in multiple spots. Also the safety seal was broken (probably while picked up in the package in shipping, so if I was using this in a restaurant I might have returned it. Just an FYI for shipping and commercial purchasers. My review is based upon the quality of the product, not Amazon’s shipping.

Great chili powder, good price. But my racoons don't give a s***.
Actually they do. Literally...Great chili powder, good price. Bought it to repel racoons who use the flower bed next to my house as their personal toilet...Burns in my eyes, but unfortunately my racoons seem to be immune. They run just over even a good measured layer of pure chili powder. They even sit and poop right in it... Tried everything. Water + Onion + chili powder + garlic + soap solution. Water + chili powder solution. Pure chili powder... They just don't care... =(Not the products fault though. So 5 stars, because it IS hot.
