TPM2.0 Module TPM LPC 14Pin Module with infineon SLB9665 for MSI Motherboard Compatible with TPM2.0(MS-4136)

This worked just as expected in my MSI B350M Mortar Arctic motherboard. I had to fiddle with the BIOS so that it would point to the module, but eventually it showed up as an IFX TPM2.0 module and I was able to set it to TPM 2.0. The catch to this, however, is that if you still do not have an approved CPU, the Windows 11 upgrade tool and the PC Compatibility tool that you can download from Microsoft are so stupid that they *still* report that you have an incompatible CPU even though Windows 10 sees the TPM 2.0 module. I got so frustrated by this that I forced a fresh Windows 11 install with no issues. Everything is working. Just be aware that even if you install this onto your MSI motherboard and everything seems to be okay, you will most likely need to install Windows 11 with a fresh, clean install because the upgrade tools will not acknowledge the TPM 2.0 module. *slow clap, Microsoft*

Agree installation upon power off, the chip was so hot to the touch, it would brand you.

Installed it onto my MSI x570 GP motherboard and the device was recognized right away in bios. Booted up my pc and updated to windows 11 with no problems at all! Really great product if you don’t have a TPM module and want to update to win11! Just make sure you order the correct pin count, I had purchased the 12-1 pin connection but I needed the 14-1 pin connection for my motherboard. Easy return, and the correct one came in a timely manner.

It is recognized on an MSI B450 Pro Max Motherboard. It was a little difficult to insert, this may have been due to a bent pin on the motherboard. I did move one pin a little but it still took some effort to get it to seat. It does seem to be recognized by the BIOS.

Installed and turned on in bios, but Windoze did not recognize it. Pretty stupid for MS to require it then not recognize it. It might just be a bad chip but i would think the motherboard bios would have complained if that was the case.

Super easy, plug it in, make the changes in bios, clean install windows 11 using rufus. done in 30 minutes! Windows 11 is terrible but this board works like a charm if you really need 11 and know what your doing

Working fine with my x570 board which was having cpu ftpm problems before, although sometimes this module also causes error with certificates at reboot but that happens only 1 out of 10 times.

I use this so that I can run Windows 11 on an older motherboard (MSI Z170 Gaming M3) and not have any issues with security updates. It works well. After you install it, you have to configure it in the BIOS, and then afterwards it should be detected by Windows. I configured it before I installed Windows and it worked well, after that I ended up updating the BIOS because I realized it was quite outdated and then Windows stopped detecting it, obviously I had to reconfigure it in the BIOS. Once I did that, it was fixed and it has been working consistently ever since. I'm using this with a 6th gen Core i5, can't remember the exact model number but it's helping keep it out of the landfill because while it's not powerful enough to use as a main computer for my bf and me anymore, it's still good enough as a media center PC.

Works in MSI x570 MEG Unify. Have two cards in rendering pc (smaller 2070 super cards) and board sticks up but works without issue.

Installed on MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC Been getting stutters from using fTPM on 3600X. Adding this module as dedicated TPM resolves the stuttering issues for AMD CPU.
