Great book - I want more please Mr Dolley
The Jeeves & Wooster books, at times become almost self-parodying and this book captures that atmosphere extremely well. If I have a criticism it is that I feel several short stories would have worked better than one short and one novella length, but then again, if I have a second criticism it is that this book is much too short as I raced through it not wanting it to end. I do hope that the rumours are true and Mr Dolley intends to write more Reeves & Worcester tales.Buy this now and keep your fingers crossed!

A novel idea but overall hit and miss
Interesting content and setting. Takes a while to ‘get into’ I don’t know if I’ll read it again. A bit on the fence about it.

Very funny
I loved the way Chris Dolly managed to write like P. G . Woodhouse with Conan Doyle hovering in the back ground a mix that worked beutifully and cleverly without missing any of the witless charactures prvelent in Woodhouse

Wonderful steampunk version of Wodehouse's Jeeves with a dash of Doyle's Holmes
4.5 stars.Wonderful steampunk version of Wodehouse's Jeeves with a dash of Doyle's Holmes. Dolley captures PGW's style perfectly and the elements he introduces are enriching the story without distorting the style and the charme of the two stories.Already bought the next volume.

Excellent read!
It could almost be PGW himself penning these tales, and Hugh Laurie and Steven Fry speking off the page.Add a soupcon of steam punk and the stories come alive on the page.
