Not as heavy as i was hoping, fine for interior work, not going to cut it for exterior canvas . consistent roll, straight folds, spool sturdy and loaded well. Good value for money. Barely 5/8"... closer to half inch.

Good to finish edges of fabric
I'm using this to finish the cut edges of linen fabric, before assembling the garment. This stops fraying & gives a polished, professional look. I chose the 0.25" / 6mm width because it will not interfere with sewing the seams during assembly. I've not had any problems with the joints in the bias tape (not frequent nor thick). I didn't like the packaging because the spool was shrink-wrapped in plastic, with a label, then enclosed in a tough stiff plastic cylinder. The cylinder was difficult to open as well as unnecessary for protecting the product. The spool has a plastic center & cardboard ends. Hopefully that plastic recycles.

Ease of install, good finished look.
Great for use as binding for some homemade tool holders. Very well made, and easy to sew with. I believe this bias tape was wider than typical so it was very useful around my curved surfaces.

Great amount of ready made, quality folded bias tape, which came on a spool for easy use. There will be no need for a bias tape maker tool, as the folding has already been done for you. Great deal for the price!
