We had so much fun with this and had it running all day at our event. It was so much fun. The only downside was the cleaning of it. It wasn’t the easiest thing to clean, most of the bits could go in the dishwasher but the main part of the machine has to be done by hand. Still totally worth it!

Chocolate Fondue (500ml 90W) ========================= I’m on the fence with this fondue set. Don't get me wrong - it's absolutely fabulous. We loved it while we were using it. We did our research and settled on the smaller size and added 300g baking choc and a small (300ml) double cream and a dash of oil. You have to heat the choc etc first and then add it to the machine and then switch it on. After our first attempt with this, I would make the chocolate nearer to the time it's needed for. Also in hindsight we needed more choc/cream/oil. It came out okay, but I think a little more and a bit thinner would have been better. Whilst it's coming out it eventually cools down and you need to switch to the ‘heat’ setting on the fondue to keep it warm. If you miss the window it comes crawling to a stop and only the bottom/base of the fondue moves round - we assume it may eventually warm the choc enough to get it going if you leave it long enough. Cleaning the fondue is an absolute nightmare. Maybe there’s a special way of doing it or perhaps just cleaning it before it solidifies, but it took ages to clean it. What's even worse is you can't just pour hot water on it and slough it down the kitchen sink - the instructions actually warn you the choc could solidify and block your drain - plus the base of the fondue can't be immersed in water either since you don't want the electrics getting wet. Having said that you can't put a price on memories and the kids (and some of the adults) went wild over it. Currently selling for 22.99

I didn’t make enough chocolate because I didn’t understand quite how much it actually takes. I have bought a big stack so we can do a family night with it. I think the size is good. You wouldn’t want more for a home party. It’s obviously not suitable for a wedding. The secret is using oil in the chocolate. I think people try and put just melted chocolate in then give bad reviews. It isn’t the easiest thing to clean. Do it as soon as you are done and with hot water. It’s no more of a pain than my food processor or other kitchen gadgets. We all thought it was good fun!

Decent product but def not a large chocolate fountain. Doesn't make it clear that you need to add oil to melted chocolate to help it flow better. Quite east to clean though

The size is good it turns on n everything but it just doesn’t heat as much as it should unless mine was faulty I had to give mine back I could actually touch it that’s how hot it was (not hot at all) did not melt my chocolate either n I made sure I got the right chocolate for mine

This chocolate fountain is really easy to use and we found it perfect for groups of 8 to 12 people. You warm up the chocolate beforehand (we used Dairy Milk with a bit of nut oil added) then turn the fountain on and pour the chocolate into it. It's great fun and the kids love it. However! The reason for the two star rating is that the second time we came to use it it started to give us mild electric shocks whenever we touched the black casing. This was before it was turned on. Fortunately only adults experienced this, not any children, but hardly what you want from a fun kitchen device! Unfortunately we're not outside of the 30 days and therefore can't return it, but we won't be using it again.

Came in perfect condition - very easy and quick to set up and works like a charm. Very pleased with this purchase!

Funktioniert top wenn man Schokolade vorher schmilzt. Bei normaler Schoki etwas Öl mit rein. Wir hatten viel Spass. Ging auch gut zu säubern. Hatten ihn viel lauter erwartet durch die vorherigen Rezensionen

It was great on the day my son was super surprised and excited, but by the end of party( 3 hrs), there was a burning smell and it stopped working. It’s not turning on again. Very unhappy about the product. Never happened this before .
