Well made, work fine
As someone who's been growing mushrooms for almost 50 years it amazes me how growing tech has progressed. Spawn bags are relatively recent and they used to be really expensive, $2 or $3 each, so it's nice to see them widely available at a fraction of that price. These are well made and hold up to pressure cooking, and they're available at a good price. Not much else I can think of to say about a simple product like this, so if you're interested in experimenting with bulk substrates this is a good way to give it a try affordably.

Bags work as stated
As long as you have a decent sealer these bags work great. However, a cheap dealer will not help your consistency with these bags. 5mm sealer is ideal. Great product for me!

Used to be thicker
This listing used to be for .4 mil bags. I have been reordering the same listing for over a year. These bags are far thinner than the previous. It says 3mil but I think they're 2 mil. I'm going to be even more upset if this switch costs me time and materials.

Worked alright.
I'm relatively new to growing mushrooms and I've only run about 10 of the bags through the pressure cooker. So far 2 of the bags have melted. I have been a little extra cautious about making sure none of the plastic has any contact with the sides of the cooker after reading other reviews on these bags. This seems to be more of an issue with these bags compared to others on the market. The bags themselves feel fairly thick and they seal well, but they don't seem to handle the higher heat required for sterilizing media. They would probably work better for species that Don't require sterilization like oyster mushrooms. It just isn't worth the 20% failure rate on these bags when you have to spend 3+hours processing each batch. The value for money is alright if you don't have to run at higher temperatureand the size is adequate for decent harvests, but I would probably spend a few more bucks and get better bags.

Good Value for Everyday Mushroom Growing
The Dalekay 60 Pack Mushroom Grow Bags with a breathable 0.2 Micron Filter work just as well as the budget spawn bags I have used in the past. These bags are large (6" x 5" x 20"), extra thick (3 mil), and durable, making them suitable for everyday processing of grain spawn. While they are not premium quality, which I reserve for special projects where contamination must be completely avoided, they are perfectly adequate for routine use. The autoclavable and tear-resistant features add to their reliability, ensuring they hold up well during the growing process.Overall, these mushroom grow bags offer good value for money and are a solid choice for regular mushroom cultivation tasks.

Nice bags
I go through a lot of mushroom bags so was happy to get these to try out and thus far I am happy. They are a little smaller than the bags I typically use for my five pound blocks but there were able to take my desired amount of substrate just as well as my bigger bags.I read some concerns here about the bag melting during pressure cooking so I ran two of these bags alongside three of my normal bags this week. I was able to fill them up and work with them fine and they both survived a three hour pressure sterilization cycle just fine. They were literally crammed into a 23 quart pressure cooker with 4 other bags. They were touching the sides and each other and still showed no signs of melting or breaking down.I inoculated one of the bags with a full quart of grain spawn yesterday and it went fine. It sealed up very well using my generic impulse sealer. Once sealed up I still had ample space to shake and massage the grain down into the substrate, which was hardwood sawdust and wheat bran. The incoluant is growing in there perfectly so far and everything looks great. I recommend these bags.
